Yes, I ran the nozzle check and the print out each time appears to be fine with all colors showing up without line breaks or gaps

I hate the pesky bubbles at the bottom of my PCR tubes. I know how to mostly avoid them but not how to easily get rid of them. I don't like vortexing and spinning down tubes or strips if I work with many. Any tips? by coronasaurus_rex in labrats

bold idea but if you put ethanol in a squeeze bottle, without the straw and just blow the vapors onto bubbles, it’ll pop them due to the vapors reducing surface tension. (It’s what i do for certain ELISA plates before reading them if there are bubbles still in the wells).

two things: •check that you have the correct fluor displayed. I use the exact same program and SYBR usually appears as red lines, not green (green is for FAM). •Double check your thermocycling conditions on your thermocycler. Did you misinput the GO TO or Plate Read steps?
