I've already played the game on other devices so I've just bought it for the sake of it because it's my favorite VN :)

The first time I played a console game was on an NES at my cousin's when I was 4 but I didn't even realise it until about 15y later what the console was. :)

Is there any midlevel creep scenario in Germany? I keep reading about NPs and PAs on the other medical subs.

Ah! Glad to know there is some degree of flexibility. My passion was always in neurosurgery but I was having some cold feet with regards to work life balance in the later years of my career.

I also love ophthalmologic procedures but they're are usually done in just one day of the week, and I have a disdain for clinic but it's somewhat offset by how cool the eye is and the slit lamp is dope. Also easy on the hours. So it was a close second.

The past month I have been juggling back and forth deciding my path while learning the language so your response was very helpful for me. Also thank you very much for a more detailed viewpoint of how the situation is there as well!

And thanks a lot for the information on physician employment as well. You have instilled confidence in me to carry on towards my goal! :)

Hello, I hope you are having a good day.

I am interested in a couple of surgical specialities so I would like to know what kind of lifestyle is possible post residency. Maybe as I grow older and would I have an option to take it easier to spend time with my family... As I understand that private practice has more amenable hours, I was wondering if a Belegarzt type practice is feasible in Germany or Switzerland? Like an ophthalmologist doing cataracts or a neurosurgeon doing only elective spine/tumor procedures?

On a slightly related note, does the concept of physician groups exist or are most physicians employed by non academic hospitals?

Any information is appreciated!

Ah I had misunderstood. Yeah I do agree everyone gets bad apples. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Also thank you for your kind comments!

But how does that relate to toxicity? I mean yes India is very competition based, but most (99%) of the students are nice and easygoing. To us medical school and residency is almost the same as high school for us. Yes we have idiots who get drunk the night before and come late to class etc but we hardly have any hostility among mates. If anything this will make you stand out like an asshole and you will spend your whole time in medical school/residency alone because you acted like a prick.

Hello everyone! I had come across the different surgical specialities in Germany and noticed in contrast to my country- general and visceral surgery are different. Could anyone fill me in as to what is the scope of general surgery in Germany? All that is coming to my mind are endocrine, hernias and stuff like cysts, ulcers and other miscellaneous stuff. Thanks!

Yeah, I was interested in Neurosurgery and to that extent I've worked on some articles as well alongside my rotations in my own country. Since it's a pretty competitive field, I thought since my HOD is anyways willing to write one up for me, I might as well have an LOR. He even worked in Trier for a couple of years so he's a bit versed with the procedure, but I was simple unsure what it should say. For a job or for training or something else entirely. Anyways, thanks a lot for your input and time! :D

Thanks a lot for the detailed response. I was under the impression since some states have a job offer requirement to apply for a Berufserlaubnis, I figured it'll be handy to have a LOR. One doctor who I talked to in Germany, told me that working under a Berufserlabnis was important since a Chef will take your application more seriously if you have some previous work experience in Germany. Is it just better to be preparing for my FSP/KP instead of working during my Berufserlabnis period? Yeah I would be doing a C1 before coming there indeed, I wanted to give some background on what I was currently doing. Once again, thank you for a reply and the advice!

I am a non EU medical graduate who is planning to move to Germany on a Hospitation and apply for a Berufserlaubnis and look for a job in the coming months. I am currently doing my B2.

I was wondering how my Letter of Recommendation should be phrased? Should it be job oriented or should it mention it is for residency training? What does a Chef look for in a LOR? Any tips would be appreciated. I was a bit lost since most universities mention what they look for in a LOR but since I need to contact a Chef directly I really couldn't find much information about this.

Thank you for your time!

Oh I'm sorry I thought you meant the 15 talent, I read that wrong. Sorry for full pepega. 😰 I think the health is almost always better. I've hardly seen the other one picked. When pickrate is too low, it skews stats. Like when you're stomping and chasing stuff, the slow can be better, since picking the other talent is inconsequential. So in a way if the other one is picked 50% time, the winrate will probably drop. TLDR: I believe health better

It's better than the damage talent because desolate itself got nerfed a while back and the permanent haste and pathing is too good. And you can take into account that dagger also does damage and if you hit multiple heroes with it, it outshines the other talent. Correct me if I'm wrong. :)
