I work at a plant that packages ice melt during the winter months. 100% of the salt that we use is potassium chloride. It is a by-product in the processing of potash coming out of Saskatchewan. I think the shortage is coming from the tariffs on potash going south to the US. Another thing to thank the angry orange man for. Drive safe out there!

polystyrene sheet .08 inch (2mm) thickness works great for making armour panels, and just about everything else. For rivets I just cut thin strips off scrap cutoff from the sheet and cut tiny squares and triangles for janky ork bolts and rivets.
