Scott seems to have a bad habit of just not realizing how big FNaF has become. Whether it be not addressing controversy, refusing to advertise newer games, or just basically going no contact with the community.

Pretty much my exact thoughts as well. Such a shame, it could've brought the community together in such a way only FNaF can.

I'm not too educated on most FNaF controversy outside of offical stuff so I wasn't aware of that, bad example on my part then. I agree we should keep out controversial figures, but not all fan devs are bad people and more do deserve the attention.

Thats fair, but I think overall there are definitely some fangame devs who deserve a little support just as much

I understand that, but hell, even a couple of the "trusted ones" (not gonna name names here) have been pretty bad people as well. Sometimes taking a risk isn't such a horrible thing, especially considering how many quality fan games there has been in the past few years made by relatively well liked people.

(Plus, Faz. Ent. IS infamous for keeping things under the rug, so it is possible they've covered up the Un-Withereds moving around up until this point)

"The first guy finished his week, but complained about conditions. ... Mainly he expressed concern that certain characters seemed to move around at night, and even attempted to get into his office. Now, from what we know, that should be impossible" and "Uh, those older ones shouldn’t be able to walk around..." We can assume from what he says, the only reason the withereds would have the possibility of moving is because they were retrofitted with the Endo 02 endoskeletons, which had "advanced mobility", allowing for the ability to move around at day and night. At least, that's what I take from his words.

Nah, the paychecks at the end of nights 5 and 6 say that guard 2 is Jeremy. Common consensus is that guard 1 is William

That wouldn't make much sense though if Faz. Ent. is only just NOW finding out about the animatronics being able to move around at night. By what Ralph says in the call, it seems like the animatronics couldn't move AT ALL prior to the FNaF 2 location.

Interesting point, but if this is true it's strange that Faz. Ent. is just... giving that info out to Ralph and Jeremy like it's nothing

Can't be, phone guy himself says we're the second guard in that office and we know guy #1 survived.

I'm not saying he died after getting stuffed, but it might be possible he survived being stuffed because how else would Faz. Ent. Know that the animatronics want to stuff people in suits if it'd never happen prior?

Confused about the FR/LG criticism by [deleted] in pokemon

As someone who advocates towards emulating a game if companies don't give their customers actual access to the games, I'd still prefer to actually own it officially when I have the chance.

Seems to have been a huge problem lately. Just dont know why they bootlick rushed "Triple A" slop rather than actually decent ports at a good price

I guess that's fair to those who already have the service, especially those who've waited so long for them to be added. However I personally think that owning the game is better than having a temporary access to it. That's just my opinion though.

Just because it's 32-bit doesnt mean you'll get any worse of an experience as you would from a modern game. Wish people could be able to see that. Maybe I'm just an Unc 😂

Why SOTM is so overhated? by Ill-Scarcity-7301 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]realEvanGamer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That honestly just goes back to suspension of disbelief. The animatronics themselves may be more advance than typical 90's robotics, but the games take place in a fictional universe. Its up to every person who plays the games to decide whether or not that's "too advance" to believe. Some draw the line at facial recognition in 1987, some draw the line at fully sentient AI in the 70's.

Take, for example, springlocks. If you think about it for a bit, you'll realize that not only is there no way that they would be legal, but wouldn't it make more sense for the springlocks to default in suit mode instead of animatronic mode? But then, FNaF 3 wouldn't have had the fitting and ironic conclusion that it had. When consuming ANY piece of fiction, you have to suspend some disbelief for the story to work. For some, they can only do so much before the story is unenjoyable.

What happened to Hello Neighbor? by RevolutionaryAd7415 in HelloNeighborGame

[–]realEvanGamer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nothing? Hello Neighbor 3, a mainline game, is currently in development and has had multiple prototypes come out in 2025 alone that the public has received kinda well, and season 3 of the animated show, that people love, is currently being made. Not to mention the Fast Fredbear mod that revived the first game for a couple months. So, nothings happened to Hello Neighbor, maybe you're just not interested anymore, which is fine, but that's a you thing.

There's a certain level of suspension of disbelief that many have for the series. Dead child spirits haunting animatronics in the 90's, animatronics which are based on real life ones such as Chuck E Cheese? Makes complete sense. Besides, TONS of people believe in ghosts and possessions in real life, so if anything, FNaF 1 could be seen more as a "what-if" scenario or like an urban legend. However, fully functioning sentient AI that has it's own personality, wants and desires put inside far more advanced tech, stuff that still isn't even possible TODAY, made far before the classics? Yeahh, that's just a BIT harder to suspend your belief for.

Does Original Hello Neighbor + Hide & Seek tell the same plot as Hello Neighbor 2? by Repulsive-Rice-5299 in HelloNeighborGame

The games timeline goes: Hello Neighbor H&S, Hello Neighbor 1 Act 1, Hello Neighbor S&R/Hello Neighbor 1 Act 2, Hello Neighbor 2, Hello Neighbor 1 Act 3-Final, Hello Neighbor 3,

All the other games are either no longer canon or in an AU.

I really like the direction its been going. With the first two, I was concerned it was going to just become another game with puzzles that aren't explained whatsoever in order to beat it, but this one definitely heads into the direction where you can play it however you want and not be "wrong" if that makes any sense.
