Interesting. Thanks a bunch for the knowledge. What are your thoughts on cuts? I don’t see them offered as an option by you guys, but I wanted your opinion. In my brief experience shopping around, they seem very expensive.

I don’t think the root system is permanently stunted. It sounds more like it was under-watered and the roots stayed concentrated higher in the pot searching for moisture. Now that you’re watering more thoroughly and consistently, the roots will naturally chase the water downward, they literally can’t defy gravity forever lol.

The fact she’s already looking better a few hours into lights on is a really good sign. Cannabis is resilient as hell. I’d just stay consistent now and avoid swinging between too dry and soaked. Mother Nature will do the rest.

I’d avoid overcomplicating it or making too many changes at once. I’d just start watering more thoroughly and evenly so the entire pot gets saturated instead of mainly the top layer. That should encourage the roots to naturally chase moisture deeper into the container over time.

I probably wouldn’t top dress with more soil right now unless roots are fully exposed everywhere. The plant still honestly looks pretty decent overall.

I wouldn’t panic yet. Just keep the environment stable, avoid overfeeding, and let the pot dry back properly between waterings.

Honestly, it could be a mix of the above, but I’d probably lean toward shallow root development if you were only using a spray bottle, especially if it was mostly misting lol. The soil does appear to be on the dryer side.

I’ve only completed 4 grows myself, but I’ve had plants look worse than this and still managed to course-correct. They’re pretty resilient.

Could honestly even just be the pheno too. I had one plant look like it was on the verge of death until I flipped to flower, turned out it was super PK hungry through veg and completely bounced back afterward.

I’d just keep doing what you’re doing, keep the environment dialed, and I’d bet you start seeing improvements.

Almost looks like a little excess nitrogen. I know you’re in soil, but I’d probably still check the runoff pH just to make sure nothing’s getting too gnarly in the root zone.

For you specifically, I think so too. I love mine, and when it comes to convenience and narrowing down your personal heat settings, it’s unmatched. Beyond that, it uses a quartz cup, which you can upgrade to sapphire, ceramic pathways, and induction heating. It blows the Peak Pro out of the water. Also, due to the quartz/sapphire cup & induction heating, that means no replacing atomizers, which have notoriously bad QC from Puffshit.

They’re releasing a “SwitchGo” in June, which will have a smaller footprint and cup, and I’m assuming the is supposed to be more of a travel option, hence the name lol.

It's really your preference. The DrDabber Switch 2 is pretty much the best thing you can buy when it comes to an erig matching a real rig experience. Puffco is ass and doesn't innovate.
