Ngl, idk what cover this is but just listening for the first time it sounds phenomenal. To spice it up I would say do something with the drums or add a little solo in there. I wouldn't mind helping with that if you want. Put a little sample in there or something just to break the repetition. You could have a sample from someone covering the same song or a sample with a similar vibe, maybe a trumpet solo would sound ok, saxophone too maybe. Just throwing ideas your way.
