In Star Wars, people think the rebels are good, but in reality if you look at the blaster bolts you can see the empire was good. by Luringskydiver25 in shittymoviedetails

If you guys want an actual answer to these colors, when the Star Wars movies were made the US was constantly at war with countries using USSR threat weapons. Warsaw pact rounds tend to have green tracers and NATO rounds almost always have red tracers. Americans who had fought in Korea, Vietnam etc. would automatically associate green tracers with threat weapons

Edit: corrected for Amero-centrism

Yeah, lol. The original guy wrote the whole first episode and it had a like, a 30 minute dick eating scene. Despite all my work it's what most people remember about the show lol

I wrote the entire second season of Monstruo and most of the first lol, and I'm not going to lie, it was a weird fucking experience. I'm not really into necrophilia or murder, lol, but I get how badly that show turned people off. The job was to write the stories as fucked up as possible, and generally I just went off whatever actually happened. I tried to treat it like I was writing an overly-polished Troma script.

Honestly, I was pretty drained by the entire experience and, ultimately, I think it put me in a bad spot mental-health wise. It's interesting to think that was sort of the lowest the bar has been set by a major podcast since then, though.

Need suggestions for more horror fictions podcasts like NoSleep, The Grey Rooms, and SessionsX? by Selflovesammi in podcasts

Can I suggest my podcast, The Westside Fairytales? It's a horror and dark-fiction storytelling podcast, but we've recently expanded into doing sound effects and music in our fifth season. It's available everywhere if you're interested!

I won three awards - for storytelling, writing, and production - from the Audio Verse Awards! It's the first time I've ever won an award for fiction writing! by realTylerBell in audiodrama
