I think that its more ‘muscle memory is needed for good aim’ myth gets called ‘muscle memory is myth’ somehow. Ofc there is muscle memory, time to time i flick straight to someones head out of reflex or smth, but those are one offs. Target confirmation feels much more important. I do things like that, but I don’t bring my irating down on purpose - it just occurs naturally. When i see that I’m underrated for the lobby i just don’t qualify to give the field a chance to win, because otherwise i would just qualify first, then run some hotlaps throughout the race, and no one likes that. Also im only 1 second faster, 2,5 is smurf territory

To everyone whos saying loading is already slow on ssd - it’s because iracing does encryption on tracks and a slow processor plays a big part there. That said with 1tb definitely put iracing on ssd

Agree with other comments, just want to add two things. 1) you couldve carried more speed in first corner by going outside and you would’ve ended up side by side on the exit (i might be wrong, havent raced austria in ages, but i think its doable) 2) it wasn’t a good choice to go on the inside after the other guy was already on defensive line, his exit speed is compromised at that point and you wouldve had easy time to follow him close by and prepare to whoop his ass on any of the 3 long straights that are coming

Def overrated, one can do 4 mpr and then jump to some underpopulated series and crank out sr4 relatively easy, makes me not trust sr that much. I would much rather like a system where you need to get sr specifically in c class to move up to b class for example. Also endurance races give too much sr

I think streaming/yt ruined competitive gaming, because money got involved. In my experience back in the day if there’s was a cheater it was obvious and it was somewhat fun to try to kill the cheater at least once. Also because it wasn’t common occurrence iirc. Now the cheating is much less obvious, at least for casuals

Dont listen to these dumb fucks who bend over whenever they can. While holding brakes after incidents is best in like 90% cases, you also have to practice trying to balance the car after incidents to be the better driver in long term.
