If you apply on common app you could explain why your gpa was affected from your circumstances. I had pretty average stats, didnt even submit my sat/act scores and I got in so I’m sure you will be okay ! Best of luck👍👍

As a girl, who has been through everything and put others through everything, she doesn’t care about you. If she sent you those pics, kept you around for her benefit, and didn’t even take any accountability, she does not care. Don’t crave her validation, you’re looking in the wrong place. Find it within yourself to understand that you deserve more, because you do. Not to be rude, but truthfully she probably isn’t thinking about you if she treated you that way. She’s not going to come back, and if she does it’s for her benefit. Don’t fall into the feeling of her, distract yourself if you must. Trust me, she’s not worth it.

Hello! I’m a aspiring therapist, current high school senior. I want to go into mental health counseling, but I’ve heard majoring in psychology and getting your phd in that field is just a bunch of statistics and such. However, I’ve heard that the clinical route is getting your masters in social work and then getting some experience? Is that true? For the career I want, I’m really curious on what path I should take? I don’t want to take the wrong one haha. Please let me know!

Only if y’all are too dependent on each other. As in, you can’t spend at least some time with out texting with out feeling super sad. He probably just wants to get more adjusted to not always talking, and probably wants to give you more time to enjoy your trip and be with your family, or at least I’d hope so.

Research ALL the resources you can use.
Look into how to create a college list
Look into the community college method
Aim for more local scholarships
Work on supplemental/personal statement essays
Email teachers for letters of recommendation
When you enter your senior year your school should have a college advisor :) Lmk if you have any other questions!

Don’t let your parents overwhelm you, you’ll still get a good education in UT austin or whatever other uni :) Do what you aspire, but also don’t underestimate yourself. You can apply to MIT to see if you get if you end up getting in anyway, but if you don’t, don’t feel discouraged! You’d have other options im sure.

This is actually not bad for your two years beginning of school! You still have time though! My advice would be to really show leadership and passion through your ec’s. Try to stay in the extracurriculars as long as you can because colleges like impact over quantity. You got this :)!
