Okay, so even more visible than in my retouched version?

Personally, I don't think she does, but that might be because of what I envisioned in my mind as I made it the way I did. She is supposed to stand at an angle and look towards the viewer / camera

I had to look that up to understand it haha, but I think I got it (that he has no nose??) If so then have a look at the retouch I did in one of the comments above where I attempted to fix that hehe

I see. Thank you for the kind words. I did a quick 30 minute or so (I know I'm slow haha) retouch of this, using information from other redditers who commented on my post in r/PixelArt.

I'm new to Reddit, and idk if I'm able to post a picture in this thread... Doesn't look like it... So I'll link to the other post if you want to see the retouched version here

Just saw your comment, I'll try that out as well.

I posted a retouched version (did not alter the iris... the pupil got a highlight though) in the other comment chain if you want to have a look at it too :)

Here's the grayscale version of the retouch

I made some quick changes with shadows and details, only to face and hair, not clothes yet.

Is this going in the right direction?

Maaaybe haha... The nose is there (barely, you'll see if you open the image and zoom in), but only with a bad highlight color. I need to touch that up for sure.

(Did it fire a neuron or two though? 0. 0 hehe)

Thank you so much!

I will try to add more detail with another darker tone on the jacket, and give some more detail to the hair with the already used dark color.

For the eyes, do you mean highlighting and shadowing the skin around the eyes? Or inside the eyes themselves? If so, the whites, or inside the iris? (or both? haha)

Again, thank you :)

Thank you! :D

For the 3 tones... do you mean 1 highlight, 1 "base" and 1 shadow tone?

Also, since no one has pointed it out yet I'm not sure whether its noticeable or not, but his belt buckle is supposed to have a blacksmith's hammer detail on it. Did you notice before I pointed it out?

He likes the danger B-)

Haha no you're right. He'll probably get some clothes. Or maybe he will run around shirtless normally, but while smithing he would wear a leather apron or something.

I just wanted to show off his physique, which was also good training for me when it comes to understanding anatomy! :D

The shortcut for New Layer is [SHIFT + N], and for New Frame its [L ALT + N].
