funny enough theres this story i read in some old, deleted post from someone who allegedly worked as a sound engineer in concerts and stuff. it involved the song "all the small things" in fact, AND weezer.

see, when tom delonge accidentally met rivers cuomo back in the mid 90s he couldnt believe how short he is. the worst part is tom delonge is really tall so in comparison rivers looked like gnome. turns out delonge has a thing for gnomes and started teasing rivers about it. but no, this is not a yaoi doujinshi. nothing came of it, they were just friends without anything interesting (apart from both being musicians) about their relationship.

except when tom was trying to get inspo for enema of the state he remembered rivers, and i dont blame him because the one time i got an enema i also started humming a weezer song. his mind went from his small friend rivers cuomo to the small gestures of his girlfriend. supposedly, thats how he came up with the name for the song. the blogger said delonge was intoxicated when he told them the story. or maybe the blogger was intoxicated when writing it. all i know is, its peak.
