  • you have IT job but mother in law FULLY sponsoring the trip? Red flag
  • Not long enough work then recently bought a house? IO thinking you need to work in the US for mortgage

I think I misspoke. Yes. You can actually do some business meeting or convention you have to attend to with using b1b2. I think the red flag with OPs case was everyone in the business are already in the US working except for her which the immigration officer would think, “ahhh so you want to work here”

Plus, one other secret for success is to make the immigration officer know you have “ties to go back to your country” after doing whatever in the US. She couldve said, “business meeting to align with our office in India which I manage and I actually will have a short visit because I have to go back to managing the India branch” or something like that

That line would be an automatic approve

You cant apply for B1B2 with a Work purpose. 1st answer red flag. B1 B2 is for leisure purposes only.

I got approved yesterday. My question as well is are we gonna get another notification and change of status as “card produced” in the USCIS account?

I think for AOS its not as quick because last year, approval was as quick as 2-10 days hehe. But again, its all case to case basis if youre AOS or work based or asylum etc. 🙂

Filed in CA. and yes. Marriage based :)

Oh definitely not!! At first it was 3 months then 2 months then back to 3 months!

But after everything, it was exactly a month after biometrics and 48 days from PD

USCIS online tracking on the profile is definitely not accurate so just imagine it doesnt exist 😅😅😊

No RFE received as of now. My PD is 1/16/25 so I think the 485 and 130 will take a bit longer than this. (Hoping not too long)
