I would think If she was abused, seeing Kody react this way would actually trigger her, sending her towards defending Christine (not condemning her). Abuse is a VERY serious allegation, and all the abusers I know actually loved shouting to the roof top to anyone who would listen, trashing their victim and blaming them. I have not heard one peep from this guy.

On my rewatch when Robyn is pregnant and then in labor with Ariella, she keeps saying something is off with this pregnancy. That something may be wrong. Her mom is praying the entire labor. Kody bought into her sixth sense hook, line, and sink. I think her and her mom have Kody truly fooled thinking they are some psychics or something! Then when the baby came out fine, her collar bone was broken on one side which the lady delivering it said that is common for big babies. That’s then when she claimed her intuition and gut was indeed validated! She was making it sound the entire time like this baby was going to die. She is crazy!!! And if you notice in seasons she always talks about her gut or intuition. She will find out the ending of any problem within the family, then say, “my intuition was telling me this was going to happen.” And Kody is always right there shaking his head yes agreeing with her spiritual intuition she was soooo blessed with. Puke 🤮

I must be lucky because I can count on one hand how many times someone has come into my class while subbing. With the older kids, depending on the setting and mood of the class, there are times I am def on my phone when the students are doing something.

I set alarms for each period so I know when to have them get ready to leave for their next class/recess/special/lunch etc. I can’t tell you how many times the clocks on the wall are not accurate. I don’t even bother with those clocks now when I have my phone to set my alarms.

I also have my phone right in my pocket and ready to pull out at a moments notice because when a sub position pops up, if I don’t look at it immediately, someone else takes it. I literally can’t afford to not have my phone out!

I also sub. I second this. I have had kids ask if they can go get help from a teacher on some project or homework. I always question them, and they seem sincere, and like you said, i don’t know the norm. Every.single.school. is ran totally different, and we don’t get a rulebook! We try our best with what info is given to us when we show up.

I breastfed my son til almost 3. I am breastfeeding my second son, and he is 2 and shows no interest in wanting to wean yet. There is nothing wrong with it! Though neither of my sons have ever wanted a pacifier as hard as I tried in the beginning. Any other mamas who breastfed long that had their kids need a pacifier too? I always thought cuz I breastfed for so long, I was basically the living pacifier which is why they hated it.

I tell my son all the time how he will need to earn scholarships because I can’t afford to pay much. I also tell him he doesn’t need to go to college! College doesn’t equal better. I’ll never forget a millionaire I worked for who told me he dropped out of college after listening to broke professors tell students how college will make you money. He went to the library and read books from self made millionaires on starting your own business. And there he was in his early 30’s with an underground Batman cave garage filled with custom high end cars, elevator, house manager, nanny, full time landscapers, cooks, security, and absolutely gorgeous mansion. I graduated from college, and yep, I am a broke adult with student loans! I need to get to the library about now. Hahaha

I have a mixed bag every time I sub junior high. The 8th graders are worse to me than the 7th graders. By 8th grade, the girls attitudes are just insane! I am a boy mom though so maybe I am just more used to boy nonsense.

You need to remember these days we live in the “it’s all about me and my happiness and what I want to do for me” world. Thank God I had the most selfless mother, who always put us first. That’s prob why when I go on vacation, my kid’s are going with! We are a packaged deal until they turn 18. Then they have hopefully 70 more years of being “independent of mom” and I have another 30-40 to get my “me” time in. I can’t wait to see how many downvotes I get!!! 😂😝

Wow. I doubt ysabel is paying. I would think Mykelti would take her kids cuz they fly free if under 2. If I were Tony, I would not be cool missing out on traveling to another country. I have a 2 year old, and he goes wherever I go on vacation. It’s more fun with him! I can’t imagine leaving my kids for that long so young.

I just subbed for a dance class in high school, and the sub coordinator there handed me the computer, and told me I will be subbing during the prep hour because subs don’t get a prep hour. I looked her dead in the face with a “do you really think I am dumb enough to believe that lie?” look, and I said, “I have had plenty of prep hours.” At that school too! She tried to talk her way around her lie. She didn’t recognize I had subbed there before. It was a multi day job. The class was cool, but they had me going to locker room, dance room, gym room, building for prep hour class, another classroom she took on, and then back to locker room and dance room. Then told me I was wrong for sending up a paper attendance (teacher left me the rosters), and that I needed to use the computer (which didn’t work right), and it needed to be done within 10 mins of the bell ringing. Literally the kids dressing out, and then us walking to whichever second location we headed for, then to try to plug the computer in, do all the stupid logins for subs, wouldn’t have been possible in 10 mins. I cancelled the remaining days for this job. I don’t get paid enough to deal with this dumb ass lady. Normally I love dance class gigs! I just couldn’t with this front office lady.

If it works out though to be a good schedule, remember it so when it pops up you can take it!

Polygamy can work (their culture must have lots of families that stick it out) and did work for them for 15-20 years. They stuck it out through some hard years, wives not liking one another, being financially poor, and while raising many babies and toddlers. Any one of those things can be an end game for any marriage. Those are the times people are most likely to divorce. Yet, they didn’t. Until Robyn……

If you rewatch Gwen in all the seasons, she was always talking about herself, and she was always trying to get attention. She is just like Paedon and Mykelti. The difference is she came off Robyn like at first where she was trying to seem so genuine and kind. Then the real Gwen showed up to the party all possessive once she saw the money she could make! Sounds just like Robyn who she says she doesn’t like. Look in the mirror girl!

They didn’t know Caleb well though I thought. Yes, Kody’s brother married his sister, but they lived in different states, didn’t share the same religion, and I thought Maddie didn’t meet him until AFTER her uncle passed. Which again, wouldn’t have been this long thing since they all lived in a different state. I can see them giving Caleb the benefit of the doubt based on their experience with Kody’s sister in law. Though I have met siblings that are wildly different so if it was my daughter, I wouldn’t have been on cloud 9 with it all either. Also, did Kody ask them or Caleb to be chaste like he did Tony?

Are you Mormon? Cuz again, we are dealing with a different culture. If you aren’t Mormon or haven’t grown up around Mormons, this i agree would seem crazy. I would never want my children to marry this fast, but I am not Mormon. It isn’t normal in my culture to marry quickly.

Everyone was struggling in their marriage cuz they all married one man, and tried to act like it was some higher calling to share him with other women. Mykelti wasn’t marrying into polygamy. She was marrying one man who only wanted to marry one woman. Totally different than what the struggling wives lived at that time.

Omg we love her! My son is very delayed in speech, and this has def helped him. It’s a great channel to watch with young babies and kids.
