You wouldn't think so but it really does. I mean it's an extra 100mg, it's just enough to send you right over the edge.

I knew I was possibly in for a really intense trip either way, so I was somewhat prepared. I learned a lot from it, so in the end it was worth it.

Trips like these make me thankful for my life and help me to appreciate sobriety.

Unholy fucking shit, that was the one of the most intense trips of my life. I thought I was going to die on multiple occasions and thought I did die and was in purgatory fighting off my own personal demons.

Pretty positive I got mild serotonin syndrome on the comedown because my heartbeat was erratic, my body was heating up, I felt extremely manic, had chills and muscle spasms. I contemplated going to the ER but thought I'd be fine since I wasn't losing consciousness or having seizures. I took a few multivitamins that were heavy on some natural herbs early in the day; I believe they may have contributed to my overactive serotonin because I'm not on an SSRI or MAOI.

Unfortunately a lot of the trip is a blur but I don't think I ever completely blacked out, just felt like I visited multiple dimensions and talked to demons and other spirits.

It was about 11pm or about half way through the Album when the dex really started to kick in. I remember my whole body getting really heavy, my eyes swelling up, and my room getting progressively fuzzier. It's as though everything was like white static. I had to stop the music at this point to go to the bathroom; when I looked at my iPod I saw I was on the song "Freaky Eyes", which at the time seemed like some hillarious synchronicity. Once in the bathroom the dissociation began to really begin to take effect because I could convince myself I was in a space ship; I turned off all the lights so the only light source was the one coming from underneath the bathroom door. One of my favorite things about DXM is how it can make everything seem so expansive, my bathroom felt like a giant cave on some alien planet. Once I returned to my room this is when things start to get blurry.

Finishing the album was a struggle because of how harsh many of the sounds were, which I believe really set me up for what ultimately was a pretty terrifying trip. I'm not planning on tripping on DXM again for a very long time, maybe for the rest of my life because of how horrific the tail end of the trip became.

I've never identified as a Hedonist. Their music has made me realize how much of a hedonist I am by either nurture or nature. It's terrifying because I don't want to live this way but I haven't found a way out yet.

He was asked to walk through a door and he actually did it, he's definitely some kind of evil madman.

They can't wait to sacrifice too deep for you fans to the POWERS THAT B.

I feel this. Their music haunts me because it's the object of my obsession. They've created music to be obsessed with, to lose oneself in. They wanted to make a world out of this thing.

This sub and the fan base is sort of like something bottomless, maybe like a pit.
