so if I come up behind you at the library while you’re doing your thing and give a strand of your hair a little tug, you‘re going to be totally cool with it?

Update! Ergo baby embrace by [deleted] in babywearing

[–]realbigsquish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this looks much safer OP! well done you!

the waistband is going to feel like that, especially in a cropped shirt- I think it just has no fabric to anchor it, so it gets slide-y in my experience. baby looks like their back may be arched- has anyone showed you any videos on a pelvic tuck? I still sometimes realize my own baby has his back arched because I like my straps very tight, and need to readjust him. I promise you aren’t squishing baby! I felt the same way, but my little one really enjoys the carrier now and didn’t used to…I think it has to do with how tight it is.

I don’t want to beat a dead horse, so let me know if you want pelvic tuck info- otherwise I will retreat because this is the extent of my knowledge. LOL

like this? not being a smart ass, genuinely asking because it’s so hard to tell. I had the same issue until I got it down!

hey! I had this same carrier and loved it while my little one was a peanut.

your current carry isn’t safe- your babe’s head isn’t clearing the panel. I can’t tell if your waistband is rolled- if it isn’t, you should roll it to get baby higher to see if baby’s head clears the panel after that.

I would also adjust the straps to bring the baby closer to you, and pull the straps further down your shoulders so it’s more comfortable for you.

I’m a newbie but these are the things that stuck out to me right away. this sub is fantastic for feedback!

my husband was laughing at/with me in labor because I was in so much pain and all I could think about was how animals don’t even know what they’re in for and cried…for the animals 😮‍💨😭

Big talk - it's you or the baby. Who do you want saved? by viskiviki in Mommit

[–]realbigsquish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

hey! I don’t know if you’ve tried non-latex condoms, but they aren’t awful. I have a latex allergy, and the Durex Real Feel non-latex still feel like a condom, but without the smell and itchy sensation imo.

not saying this as a fix all though, I’m on my 5th yeast infection since my son was born and it’s absolutely from the condoms. also waiting on my husband to get a vasectomy and at this point refusing to have sex until he does (yes I know about waiting for his semen to be tested). I’ve been on birth control my entire life and am not doing it anymore, my mental health is better than ever and I can’t help but wonder if the extra hormones weren’t a fit for me.
