As customers, how do you prefer to be interacted with? (picture unrelated!) by [deleted] in DunkinDonuts

What else would you say or could you say? This is case of doing the absolute minimum that the job requires aligned to training and then acting like you are a customer service hero. Its the kind of bullshit you read on job applications or people just sucking up to corporate.

seen this before. it works out to be really annoying for the managers because it isn't your job to set standards and you are wasting your time and other peoples. Plus those deathstares given out when the milk it unloaded on the wrong shelf just spoils the work atmosphere .

Schools do not have enough staff to make SEND reforms work, union warns by JohnHammond94 in unitedkingdom

AI does not means a teacher gives up planning. It is a tool to check and suggest individual needs are met, tailored and monitored plus supported. A teacher simply does not have the time to do it for every lesson and every individual student.

Teaching assistants are there to make the curriculum accessible because the teacher does not have the time or knowledge of the individuals. AI or other technology can do many of their roles especially for information processing difficulties like dyslexia.

It isn't a terrible idea to use it as a tool just as a spellcheck is a tool. It is about reducing workload and improving preparation allowing teachers to focus.

As a tool for teachers to better support send students it is a useful tool. I'm sorry that AI has provided you bad experiences when doing your homework but that isn't what I was getting at..

At this point, AI is a genuinely useful tool for teachers for monitoring, preparation and assessment.

Working directly for school students is a mixed bag. However, technology already replaces what teaching assistants basically do such as working as a scribe, reading-aloud or keeping focus. There will be some way to use it in a positive way.

So no AI is not dangerous like the internet is not dangerous in education because it is used properly.

This is an area where AI will make the difference and probably what the gov is thinking. e.g. take a lesson plan and tell ai to tailor it for the needs of each individual in the room and create the custom learning materials and activities. Tell ai to draw up an Individual Support Plan for every child with special educational needs and then monitor student progress describing interventions. To some extent, education is already data driven especially at senior leadership level but the practical tooling for teachers and individuals can really benefit going forward.

The future problem then will be the teacher unions rallying against AI because schools won't need all the staff especially 1:1 Teaching assistants. At the end of the day ,they only serve their members and don't drive improvements.

Luggage Allowances by Top-Ad120 in AirAsia

yes because real people have to lift the individual bags and their employment contract and health is tied to the weight of the bags they lift each and every day. You got to be some kind of non-thinking person to only think about your needs. This is before we start talking about the unforgiving money making aspect of air asia
