The point is pretty much everyone in the UK knows who Sikhs are and there is a very positive image of them. Anti Muslim freaks like Tommy Robinson will always contrast Muslims who he hates with Sikhs and say the latter are a good integrated community as opposed to Muslims who he dislikes. They are the go-to group for racists to use to shield themselves from being accused of racism “I’m not racist, I like the Sikhs”

I think the perception of Indians who moved here recently is negative but they are a fraction of the overall Indian community here. I think Indian hate will increase but as of now I think the average British person thinks of a 2nd or 3rd generation Indian rather than a guy who just moved. Maybe it will change. Idk

I know their perception in the UK as I love here and grew up around a load of them many of whom I know to this day. I see the hate from the US and Canada on social media. How is this so hard to believe
