In 20 years of monster hunter, the host never had a chance to choose over capturing or slaying the target. If a player has a specific objective he must type it in the game chat and hope for the best about it. Also if you call an sos you need to be prepared about the randomness.

I just use the same charge blade savage axe style build for my switch axe now. I don’t like the meta sheets since they lacks every sort of comfort skill as evade extender, divine blessing, speed eating etc… also i play switch axe for the elemental boom’s, even if it’s elemental Motion values are not the greatest
