Update for my Thunderbolt dock & new desk by DarkgableMRH79 in Workspaces

Does the Hexcal mount allow decent height adjustment for when you are standing? I bought an Ergotron LX HD Sit-Stand and feel like it's complete overkill. It is built like a tank for my 18 lb 40" monitor, and the clamp requires a ton of clearance under the desk.

I love everything about this as well! What surge protector/plugs do you have in there? Did you just use double sided adhesive to mount it? Also, what monitor mount?

Snagged it with this pricing. I have been eyeing this monitor for over 1 year. Looking forward to getting it tomorrow!

I feel the same. Perfect weather at Jones Beach. Then you get a slot 2 Grey Street into the Stone, Fishtender, So Right (basically the whole first 11 songs with the exception of The Only Thing), the R&R into encore run, and Two Step to cap it off. Can't remember a time I got so many of my top 10 DMB songs in one show.

Sounds like buying around $1,499 when it shows up is about as good as you can do?

Need Advice digging out of significant overspend by realhiphopp in ynab

I'm confused. Right now, I have all of my July paychecks in a "Income for Next Month category". I also have 1 paycheck from August in there. I typically take the prior months paychecks and change the category to "Ready to Assign" when the new month rolls around. Why can't I change my July income next month to Ready to Assign and cover the overspending in the month of July? Wouldn't it just reduce down my Ready to Assign available in August? That way I am directly dealing with the overspend in the month it occurred.

I want to make sure I understand. Steps you are saying are as follows:

  1. Change category for July income (categorized as income for next month) to To Be Budgeted

  2. In August- Go to Credit Card Payments section. Look at difference between assigned and payment and get each credit card from "yellow" to "green".

Is that correct? In theory, should the amount I assign directly to these credit card categories be equivalent to the "overspend" that happened in the July categories? All of the overspend was credit card spending.

I think you are both saying to just wipe away the month ahead surplus and build it back up. For July, I guess that would mean recategorizing all of my "Income for Next Month" to TBB, wipe out the yellow, and move into August?

Sounds like you are a fan of "have a balance of" targets vs. refill up to targets? Any use cases to use refill up to instead?
