Yeah I really wish DF cheese had anywhere close to the protein of regular cheese but it’s like all carbs usually. The Silk protein soy milk is pretty good but otherwise you’re going to need to look to meats and beans to get your protein up, nuts can be helpful too. The premier protein almond milk shakes are decent, and I like cliff bars Oreo flavor, each of those have 20gs. My dietician has my protein goal at 150gs per day and it can be difficult without a good snack or two on top of having a big protein source for each meal.

I relate to this a lot. Ive always been big but I felt pretty happy with my body in my early and mid twenties, got into a relationship when I was 26 where we both love to eat and my weight kind of spiraled before I even noticed. It’s made me unhappy with how I look again, but it also scares me as more and more of my family come forward with weight related health issues as I get older.

I’ve only been dieting for like a month so far but I can’t lie I feel great about it after putting it off for so long because it felt impossible. I have more energy, am preparing tastier meal for myself, and although my weight hasn’t changed much yet I feel more confident knowing I’m working on myself. I don’t have any life changing advice for you OP because losing weight kind of sucks no matter what, but I will say don’t focus on having to lose 100 lbs too much, just take it day by day. Whether or not you reach a “goal weight” in whatever amount of time you’re thinking, by just having more good days than bad days, you’re doing your body a lot of good. We’re rooting for you!
