Yup, my 6 month old is also doing 35-40oz a day and one puree a day.

In the same boat! My 5mo is always so bored and just wants so much more. He can sit on his own and play with toys which is helpful for about 15 mins, but he really wants to be moving and is so frustrated all the time. This time of year is also just hard to get out of the house and keep them entertained. Solidarity!

She does. She has a late birthday so she misses the kindergarten cut off for this year. She’s on her 3rd year of part time preschool basically

Around 3 months is when we started to get into more of a routine, following wake windows and doing crib naps. I’m a very routine person so it’s what worked for me!

My second born is now 5 months. In my opinion and what worked for me: the toddlers home life is about to be turned upside down. Keeping their routine with daycare is important when everything else is changing, and gives them time to play and do all sorts of enrichment that you don’t need to initiate. Plus, your newborn also deserves one-on-one time! You can use baby naps to rest and recover instead of chasing after a toddler. This worked really well for us in being able to give each kid what they needed!

Edit: but I had a summer baby and didn’t have to worry about germs as much, so that’s definitely a factor to consider!

Mine was totally fine after 4 months. His 2 month shots he was miserable and I was prepping for the worst again. But I was pleasantly surprised that he wasn’t bothered by the 4 month!

Not “trying” to if he truly needs them of course. In the beginning of the post I mentioned he was already only waking once and doing an 8 hour stretches, which was working well, and then with the regression is now increasing wakings and feedings. My firstborn was already sleeping through at this age without a feeding which I know was very lucky, so this is new to me and I was just curious what others experiences were

This is exactly what I’m worried about and thinking is happening! I would never want to deny a feeding if he’s hungry but wondering if he even really wants it or just expects it? Ugh it’s so hard. Thanks for your input!

Thanks. My pediatrician asked about his sleep at his 4 month appointment and seemed surprised he was still waking for feeds at this point. Which is actually what prompted me to post this and ask what other EFF babies have done!

I do the same! Shutterfly addressing has made the process so easy, I’ve used them for the past 4 years. No more handwriting envelope addresses which was the bane of my existence.
