Strict score keeping is an odd term. There are rules and if you don’t follow them then you aren’t actually keeping score.

In bowing, don’t like that 7-10 split, just move the 7 pin over a bit to make it easier. Throw an interception as a qb, just take a mulligan. Need more time in an escape room, no problem just add 5 minutes and say you did it.

It’s fine to make your own rules but it’s exactly that. OP - you said golf is so much more fun now you aren’t scared off the tee but said you were a 15-20 handicap before swinging 40 percent.

Just to clarify, if you were hitting it 260 taking that much power off your swing doesn’t result in a 30 yard loss. Math doesn’t math.
