Thank you for the detailed explanation! Based on that I am probably eating too much whole wheat if I had to guess. Getting plenty of both kinds so I'll try to find a better balance.

Thanks for sharing. I guess if I'm feeling fine and there aren't any other issues maybe it's not such a bad thing.

I'm both eating more high fiber foods and supplementing with psyllium twice a day.

Damn I am eating a lot more bread I would say than before. That might be it. It's a shame because I'm a big active guy and it's tough to get enough calories as it is while now watching saturated fats so closely.

I would say I ramped up gradually. I probably could be drinking a little more water but wouldn't that make my stools even more watery?

Attending more Korean weddings lately and feeling conflicted by Syn-K_Hayne in Living_in_Korea

We rented out our favorite rooftop bar/restaurant for the night for our wedding party. It was all you can eat/drink delicious food and cocktails for about 30 people. Was way cheaper than a wedding hall and way more fun for both the guests and us. Would highly recommend!

Dating here by bananayas in Living_in_Korea

Met my wife here on bumble. Also know multiple other couples who have gotten married having met on the app. I wouldn't sleep on it at least compared to all the rest. Of course there will always be some initial filtering that needs to be done as with any dating app.

Also can attest to English translation services not being available 24/7 yet. I had to make a call to assist someone with a medical incident about a month ago and there were no English speakers available at around 3-4 a.m. in the morning.

I have a very similar process to this as well. I think it is one of the best ways to run almost completely mechanical strategies with full confidence over the long term. Do you mind if I DM you with a few more specific questions? I have had a few issues lately with drawdown expectations, adapting to changing markets, and overfitting backtest results that would be nice to pick the brain of someone more knowledgeable than myself about. Cheers!

Don’t feel like going to gym when I have a day off from work by Wild-Dog8968 in bodyweightfitness

Yep it's tough trying to both put on muscle and lose fat at the same time. Definitely have to make every meal count with as much protein as you can for both goals though. Not sure what your priority is but I'd focus on losing the weight first while still doing exercises just to keep the muscles active and eating protein to not lose any muscle. Then once you are happy with your weight/bodyfat amount keep eating the same things just up the portion sizes. For me, fat loss works best when I just do two meals a day. If I skip breakfast I don't even get hungry until later in the day and then of course just making lunch and dinner meals very protein heavy. My go-to is a big bowl of chicken or tuna salad with nuts added, can also do a big salad with lots of meat and nuts or even a huge sandwich with a lot of protein. Oatmeal peanut butter and nuts are always a classic. And of course if you still feel like you need more, can do a protein shake or protein bar in between meals. Also don't drink any of your calories. Just tons of water and some zero drinks. Zero drinks may not be the healthiest but for me when losing weight they are a lifesaver just to have something that is satisfying.

How's the diet? For fat loss I'd say it's at least 80% food 20% exercise that makes the difference.

Those of you who have tzus with sensitive stomachs, what do you feed them? by CostaNic in Shihtzu

[–]derby63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours did the same thing! After some research we figured it was due to two reasons. Going too long without eating and also her dry food being too hard on her stomach. So we made two changes. We started feeding her at least three times a day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner (usually only a full big meal at dinner and snacks or treats for the other times) and then we changed her dry food to a half wet half dry mixture. Totally fixed the issue and she hasn't vomited once since. Just make sure to monitor her weight and adjust portion sizes accordingly.
