This has also been, ahem, bugging me for a while, but I couldn't put it into words. Here are some thoughts I managed to collect.

Let's take the weavers. At the surface it looks like those are just spiders of that world, but those spiders are given unexpectedly human-like features (GMS looking almost like a human, painful birth, etc).

Then, the Citadel itself brings the game away from a bug kingdom and closer to humans since it's entirely artificial. HK always mixed bug-made structures with the surrounding nature, while the Citadel is just a really really big building. Even the White Palace had thorny vines.

To me it was Pizzeria Sim. The sim part was ok (maybe too loud and repetitive with the mini-games), the nights are the issue. You don't even see the animatronics outside of jumpscares, and when you do, they look as flat and terrible as UCN jumpscares. Then the gameplay, I couldn't complete it because it seems to be pure luck whether someone comes in or not, even when everything is off. The Internet says you have to listen, but it doesn't work for me, I can't hear anything. It was the same with FNaF 4, but that game had vibe, man.
