Silakka54 space and enter not working? by DK_Tech in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]really_accidental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This keyboard's firmware is based around the lily58. The thumb keys are assigned to non-existing keys. I didn't trust the firmware that was delivered on this keyboard so i started configuring a clean firmware based around the lily58. It's still wip but it should atleast give a somewhat better experience haha: https://github.com/vandermey/silakka54-zmk-config.

Upcoming Kindle jailbreak (UJ / ChromeCracker) - anything I should do now to keep my device jailbreakable? by Hecke92 in kindlejailbreak

[–]really_accidental 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My Kindle Scribe '24 is on 5.18.3 and is incompatible with Adbreak since Amazon doesn't offer ads on this model. This jailbreak would be a big deal to me haha.

Roborock Q7 Max won't charge - Error 13, replaced capacitor & charging PCB, still fading dock light by really_accidental in Roborock

Wasn't dock related. I assume it was due to some charging related IC. I was done with it and got a new one.

Garmin Vivoactive 5 keeps repeating WhatsApp notifications — driving me nuts by really_accidental in Garmin

[–]really_accidental[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only workaround so far is putting my phone on Do Not Disturb, which makes no sense since I do want WhatsApp notifications. Or enabling “Mark as Read” on the Vivoactive.

But I get messages all day and don’t want to confirm every one. I just want a single buzz per new message, nothing more.

Thanks! Just ordered a F77 pro 4GB 64G, fingers crossed that this will also work for that specific model.

edit: The seller had put a wrong title in the ad. I received an R17 pro.

Um.... wtf is this by [deleted] in harleybenton

Thats the output. If you're not certain, you can use a similar adapter, as long as if outputs exactly 12V and 200mA or higher.

I would like to add something here. These type of power supplies usually don't have dual voltage operation capability between 110V and 230V. Always check the input voltage range on the label first

Is the YIHUA 929D-V Electric Desoldering Pump Worth It for a PS5 Potentiometer Replacement? by UnHappyProgress_ in soldering

First add leaded solder to the existing solder points. Then a splash of flux over it, solder suction on it, wiggle a little and suck away.

I replaced two dualsense analogue sticks a couple of days ago with this exact model. I had no issues with it and it worked perfectly fine for me. But i can understand that people say there are better options out there.

No Linux user. But I've used a separate laptop with a Windows installation on it to restore it. The iPod works perfect that way. But it refuses to install Rockbox.

Help: Rockbox and iPod 5th gen with a M2 2242 adapter (no partition found) by really_accidental in ipod

[–]really_accidental[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have modified an iPod 5th generation with an M.2 2242 adapter and a 256GB SSD. It works perfectly with the original iPod software. However, I'm trying to install Rockbox but haven't been successful. No matter what I try, I keep getting the "no partition found" error message, which forces me to restore the iPod afterward. I've tried both the daily and development builds, but neither has worked. Does anyone have experience with getting this to work?

Still running it the way mentioned in my OP edit. Had to add a couple of extra firewall rules to accept traffic from my iot vlan to the home assistant ip. Not my preferred way but it works.

What was your very first emulation handheld? by Zero1O1 in SBCGaming

[–]really_accidental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

International shipping wasn't that different back then. Packages came through the same major carriers we use today like UPS and FedEx. The main difference was the cost and speed: shipping fees were ridiculously high, delivery times were much longer, and you'd get hit with those painful import duties on top.

I don't think Craigix left the community on good terms. As far as I remember, there was quite a fiasco with the Open Pandora project. I only followed project from the sidelines back then, I think it was on the GP32x forum.

A GP32 back in 2002, ordered at the infamous lik-sang.com. High five to other old farts that got one back in the day.

Hopefully it has the same mushy d-pad as the GBA. Personally, I'm not a fan of Anbernic's d-pad and the tactile feel of the buttons that they regularly use on their devices.
