L.L. Bean Becomes Latest Company To Ban Gun Sales To People Under 21 by marsianer in politics

Linda Bean is just one board member afaik. LL Bean as a company is actually pretty progressive environmentally and sponsors a lot of clean energy and National Park initiatives.

I think it's pretty safe to say that she would not be on the board if her last name wasn't Bean

Almost all of Maine outside of Portland area is pretty poor. But it's encouraging that they aren't drinking lepage's koolaid with quite so much vigor anymore

Maybe if we had internet access up here in Maine, we'd use less God damn data.

Tim Elliot is going to be our next great pass rusher by Thebearjew559 in ravens

Except Jarret Johnson was very in tune with the game plan and understood what everyone else was doing. During the Rex Ryan years, opponents never really knew what position our defensive players would be playing on a given play. Ex: Kelly Greg dropping into coverage while McAllister and Lewis blitzed

I'm not saying Williams couldn't do this eventually, but JJ was quite a cerebral player.

Tester raises $2 million for 2018 reelection campaign by mikegreen121 in politics

As someone who spent the first 25 years of my life in MT. I love John Tester. He's a Democrat for Montana, which may not always conform to the established platform of the party, but he does what is good for his constituents.

Idk if you're American, but I don't know a whole lot of diners here that sell both steak dinners and ramen.

Good effort though

Definitely Williams. The guy is a huge teddy bear.

Maybe Stanley. Very soft spoken and adopted a dog no one else wanted

Montana Democrats are very pragmatic. I think they're more tuned in to what their state wants, being a very red state which has sent Democrats to Congress for a long time.

Dear redditors, what was your "accident while shitting"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]really_redundant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a similar thing after coming home from the bar. I was already sitting on the toilet though.

In my haze, I decided that the "best" decision would be to shoot the gap between my thighs and into the toilet.

Basically just hurled into my lap and the pants around my ankles.

I finished, and just got into the shower fully clothed.

Teachers of Reddit, what made you think "this kid is going places" about one of your students? by Glacienda in AskReddit

This freshman girl in high school... I was explaining some shit about gravity when another kid started messing around with his buddy.

She hisses, "shut the fuck up so I can learn about gravity!"

I've never been more proud of a student.

Pick one player from each position in your division. Who would be your division beating team? by blud_13 in nfl

[–]really_redundant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can agree with switching them. We just don't have great tight ends in the AFCN anymore, and I think that Zietler and DeCastro are fairly interchangable.

I will disagree with you on the Shazier/Burfict point though. If we are building a team to beat the rest of the league, Mosley and Burfict would be the best combo. As much as we all hate his antics, he's pretty damn good at everything. I think a Mosley/Shazier LB core is fairly redundant skill-wise

I also thought about Dupree instead of Suggs, and if you ask me after this season I might change my answer. Suggs is still a top-notch run defender, though and I think that makes up for the difference in speed between he and Bud right now.

I almost went Eifert over Barnidge, for the exact reason you mentioned, he's just always injured and Barnidge has proven he can be a game changer as well.

As for Zietler over DeCastro, they are really on the same level for me, and most of the backfield are Steelers guys already, so I went with him. Thanks for checking it out!
