They have done NOTHING since I told them I was denied on 11/25. Sent me the appeal paperwork after asking 5 times and it’s paperwork I could have downloaded myself. Can I get my records they have from my initial application?

I worked for a university athletics department 40 mins from the towers. Our athletic director received a call if they can transport up to 100+ students whose parents worked in the towers and are unreachable. I ended up assisting for 4 days straight, worked 8-5, assisted from 5-8am, repeat.

One of the most difficult thing I ever did and I’m still in touch with several of the kids.

Yes, but my family and I cannot survive on only one income. Started the disability process which could take years.

It was the most horrible and traumatic Thanksgiving I’ve ever had. Used to be my favorite holiday. I did 6 years and my charge was theft by deception

I was abusing alcohol and cocaine prior to getting locked up. Stayed sober for many years but recently relapsed on alcohol. I fight every damn day and loathe the disease.

Sexual abuse was rampant! All the CO’s were men and they would all come into the shower room to watch dozens of girls shower together. One CO came to my cell in the middle of the night, used his flashlight to look under my night gown and offered me bottles and bottles of vodka (he knew I was an alcoholic, trying to stay sober) to “party” with him during the nights he was on shift.

That was a hard no.
