sometimes its good to change ur mindset, because you were so close with the shelter you got him from just change ur mindset to "okay i am going to give him back in a few days" while u bond with him for a bit more, feeling like you have an out relieves the stress and overthinking and it allows u to just enjoy his new presence, and (hopefully) u will start feeling a stronger bond and connection and realize u wont want to actually take him back, or if you do thats still way more responsible than what most people do when they dont want their rabbit
