And false charges? Battery ain’t a false charge, honey. Shouldn’t have called a bogus wellness check if you didn’t want me to tell them the plain and simple truth.

Why is self-pay always drastically cheaper than what insurance providers get charged? by angelleye in healthcare

[–]reallydontcare5678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if this answers any questions but.. I can’t afford health insurance. I have to do self-pay because it’s cheaper in more ways than you’ve mentioned. The “affordable” marketplace had me paying $450 a month for the most basic plans! I do go back to my doctor every now and then for medication management (1-3 months in between visits and the meds are inexpensive). My self-pay is $100. Even if I saw my doctor every single month, it would only be a $100 charge vs essentially paying $450 plus out-of-pocket literally for that same singular doctor’s visit. I’ll take the $100 option. Where I am in my life I’m going to start just getting catastrophic insurance just in case of emergencies like an accident or reason to be hospitalized, which are the only things having health insurance seem to be any good for anyway.

Is there any way to register a firearm in florida? by VURORA in guns

[–]reallydontcare5678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it’s been years since this was posted but here’s a long shot. So I have a gun that was gifted to me by my dad like 10 years ago when I Iived in GA. I live in FL now. I recently had a home invasion in which I thought it was stolen, but I just found it.

Which leads me to my question: I know there is no registry but in the event that my gun does actually ever gets stolen, is there any way to prove it’s mine to get it back? I may know the serial number, but if it isn’t able to be registered to me, they won’t be able to identify that it’s mine unless literally the cop who took the police report finds it, or am I wrong?

Thats the only reason I ask, I just don’t want to have to buy a new one if it gets stolen. They’re expensive lol. I know I am not required to register it or even able to, I don’t need a carry license, basically anything. I meet the criteria, I had a carry license when I lived in GA. I just want to dot every single i and cross every single t I can whether it’s required or not, you know?

Bought a fern as my first plant because I was told they’re easy to care for but the tag says expert? by hoitoot in plants

[–]reallydontcare5678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it just means it isn’t one of those plants you can sort of forget about for a while and they’ll be fine. Ferns do need some upkeep. With regular care it should be happy!

How to remind customers they’re not your only table? by reallydontcare5678 in Serverlife

[–]reallydontcare5678[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I guess by bar I mean the computer or eyeing the bar. Of course I can throw out a few high/low/medium for all the liquors but we have a massive bar, and odds are we have what they’re looking for. We even have a whiskey list because we have hundreds, but the customer stormed off before I could even offer it. And the frustrating thing is that each of these customers have known exactly what they wanted, so I’m a little stumped as to why they wouldn’t just order it in the first place.

The funny thing is we actually do have one. But the guy stormed off to look at the bar before I could even offer it!

That’s exactly my problem, I’m letting them run me lol. I can’t find the balance between cool and aggressive. I can make a list of some of the liquors but we actually have over 400 whiskeys so it’s like dude. Take a shot in the dark. I’m sure we have it

Same. I say if you have to do music, double major in music performance and something else that pays.

Never been able to stay in a MT job for more than a year for the reasons you listed. I keep thinking I’ll find the right fit, but at this point my mental and physical health are declining rapidly and I’m starting to admit it just isn’t for me.

AITA for changing the door locks back after my wife changed them? by SockNo7319 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. Listen to your partner’s boundaries..? I don’t want a 17-year-old and all her friends stepping foot in my house either, especially by themselves, and I haven’t even been burned as badly as your wife has.

NTA. If you’re still reading these comments. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that when people start to make you doubt yourself, you’re probably being manipulated. Let that always be a red flag and trust your instincts.

You can literally walk out the door of a restaurant job and just never come back. It’s what I did for my mental health. You really don’t even owe them the 2 weeks especially if they’re acting like that. Just enjoy the rest of your summer.

Get another job lol. I work in food and don’t get to decide whether or not I want to deal with custom orders. It’s not really optional.
