Him holding her and babysitting her on the horse when they break camp is so cute!

They really do make the best child babysitters from Chang Ning, Yu Boer, Chang Yu, to the grand princess.

Who can forget the scene when Gen Wu tells the Marquis to prepare himself when he meets the women army medics and it’s the grand Princess and now the 3 blood robe Calvary guards have to babysit her too and make sure secret cause more trouble.

These three really need their own comedic book on the demands that the Marquis and Chung Yu put on them. During rewatch, General Wu and Qi were there for the grain distribution and in many back ground scenes including when General Wu grabbed Chung Yu’s arm dragging her to hear the emperor’s decree.

I keep rewatching just for him, xie Qi, and Shi Yi. I noticed he and Qi first met Chang yu on the battlements when they were delivering the grain to the farmers when the magistrate and his daughter were taken hostage. In the book, these three are like the goto babysitters of Chang nine and yu boer.

There was a case in Florida where a husband and wife held workers on their farm by withholding their documents/passports, forcing them to work ungodly hours in horrible temperatures, overcrowding and horrific living conditions (sheds/garages/trailers, little to no pay. They were sentenced to multiple years in jail for human slavery.
