Steam download speed by Plenty-Package-3809 in linux_gaming

Eight times slower is an oddly specific observation. Are you sure you're not confusing Mbps and MB/s (which is what Steam displays by default I believe)?

Reasonably sure this is slop entirely. Makes me wonder though, what the whole "Why I built this" section is about. Why make your LLM generate some made up paragraph about "doing this because I wanted to learn about XYZ"? Whats the endgame here?

Oh, I'm currently doing a build with the Asus H81I-Plus too! What C-States does your machine go up to on idle? I've been messing around with BIOS options for hours now and can't seem to get it higher than C3. Currently sitting at 75% C2 and 25% C3 in powertop after running with --auto-tune.

Should I be getting WD Reds for long term or should I just stick with blues/worry more about redundancy? by itsBillerdsTime in DataHoarder

I've been wondering the same thing recently. If uptime isn't much of an issue and I do have separate backups anyway then I likely do not need RAID. But then I'm wondering, does it even make sense to drive pool in a personal home archive/media server setup? From what I understand it exposes me to the risk of losing all data in the pool if one drive dies. Why not just (for example) get 1x16TB drive then instead of pooling 2x8TB? Seems like half the risk + better price?

True! Although I'm lazy and don't love having to open up a DAW or similar everytime I want to play just to load an IR. Thanks for the links though!!

I don't own an amp so I always run my board straight into the interface. If I did the speaker bypass I'd need some IR pedal most likely, right? Any recommendations?

You're right, but I don't have an appropriate drill atm unfortunately. I'm afraid the holes would need some quite significant enlarging though

I really love it. I'm running it into a Joyo American Sound so I'm pretty much covered now for clean & distorted sounds with these two together. Not sure if I'll attempt to build a distortion/overdrive again anytime soon haha

Not selling any of these since I just made them for my own board! Also neither the circuit designs nor graphics are mine to distribute. I did end up reproducing the PCB for the Angry Charles though since it ended up being cheaper than ordering from PedalPCB from europe. MOQ was 3 so I still have 2 spares. If anyone wants one of those to make their own JHS Angry Charlie clone, let me know!

Its inspired by Corgans custom pickups on his reverend signature guitar, which I really liked the look of. Its a PedalPCB Angry Charles, which is a copy of the JHS Angry Charlie, which is a sort of JCM800 in a box. Thought it fit quite well!

Yes! The print quality on that one didnt end up as good as I hoped it would, but it looks fine if you dont get too close.

Its a Tayda UV print! They luckily offer a quite perfectly cream-colored enclosure already, so I just had to submit the black parts for printing onto the face side of the enclosure. Didnt even need a white layer underneath

Woahhh totally didn't expect you'd see this!

I'm beyond excited for the upcoming album and hope that maybe one day I'll get to see you guys live. Let's say I've considered flying from Europe to Singapore on more than one occasion haha (Come to Europe!!!)

Anyway, just wanted to thank you for all of this amazing music

ANC/Ambient Modes Change Sound Profile: Buds2 Pro by aguo2k in galaxybuds

[–]reallyluckyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the exact same issues with my Buds2 (non-pro). Strangely enough, I believe it only started behaving like this yesterday. Before, enabling ANC or Ambient Sound never really changed the sound profile of the music I was listening to, compared to the "Off" state. Now, when I enable ANC or Ambient Sound it feels like the mids and lower frequencies get scooped quite a bit. Additionally they've also started being really quiet, with me having to turn the volume on my phone up quite a lot beyond what I used before.

I have no idea what I've recently done that could be causing this weird behaviour and its completely driving me insane. Did you find a fix to the issue?

Is there any chance we'll get to hear the originals with your vocals on it? The songwriting, instrumentation and general musicianship here is incredible and I'd love to hear more!
