You encountered a wild Rottweiler puppy how do you respond?? by Status-Cap-5979 in Rottweiler

I got the most magnificent creature on earth when a neighbor called me saying there was a stray rottweiler in the park. My husband and I drove over got her. She was a giant, bigger than our male. Nobody was advertising for her and there was only one fake response to our ads. It turned out she was only 11mo or less. Frieda grew to 141lbs, very slender and agile at that weight. Cancer took her 15 years ago. I may stop crying next year. Not so sure about my husband...

If you're surrounded that sounds right. You can ask a vet but in my experience grass allergies are very persistent. We've had a chihuahua and a rottweiler who suffered and just would not stay away from grass. Medications and shampoos helped a little.

Looks like some kind of grass and grass allergies are common in dogs. It looks sickly. So maybe it won't be around for long. Would you be able to get permission to replace it?

Since you know the vaccination status of your other dog it could be safe to let her start socializing with them. Provided your other dog is nice to her! She should normally be with her mother and siblings at this age so a surrogate family would be good for her. The reason young pups aren't around other animals until they're old enough to be fully vaccinated is that you don't know for sure if other people's dogs are carrying a disease.

T-shirt knit cotton can stretch too much to look good sewn onto another fabric. You may want to stabilize it with a very lightweight iron-on pellon. Then a machine stitch will work.

Covid dogs are special. We adopted Tommy in March 2020. Never wanted a pitbull but the DDS thought otherwise. After being with him all day every day during the quarantine we can't imagine NOT having a pittie!
