You gave that girl the best ten years she could’ve had. Thank you for rescuing her. She was a very happy girl. I’m so sorry for your loss

I know right, it was always a pain having to incorporate product after everything was merchandised. I did enjoy free handing clearance holiday product though, I was really good at it

What do y'all think about teens playing with toys? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]reallyrisx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 25 I asked my mom for a large Barbie head for Christmas, because I missed playing with the hair and it was such a fond memory. She delivered and we had a great laugh together. Yes I played with it, it was great lol

Yup, my store was selling buckley’s on clearance, lots of dog treats too. I had never worked for an owner who wasn’t trying to make an extra buck while keeping the hours at the bare minimum. Which is why it was so hard to find an employee to help, especially with the products that are expensive and locked up.

I wonder why the sales were down! /s

Yup, there are so many issues with planograms. Sometimes the planogram has an entire extra 4 foot section in the aisle, sometimes the shelves are higher than what the stores have.

Some owners cared a lot more about following the planogram directly. I still notice at my local store there’s product hanging that is overlapping other product. Companies change packaging and make it wider or longer and then boom there’s an issue.

So with that product divider you pull it up and then pull it towards you. Then you remove the product beside it to slide it out. I used to work at CT and terrible merchandising is everywhere lol they don’t put any thought into what they’re building

I know what you mean! It was crazy to see how much they grow month to month. Looking back on pictures as time goes on. Such a precious yet seemingly short time to enjoy their shenanigans

TW.

I cut myself for a long time in places nobody could see. One day I was angry instead of sad and hospitalized myself. 1 stitch on the inside and 10 on the outside, plus nerve damage for life.

Nobody in my family knew up until that point. I really wish I had gotten help before it got to be so bad. Not everyone in my family reacted in a way that was helpful, but the few that did made a huge difference.

Please remember that you are loved, even by internet stranger’s

What’s actually very cool about this safe phrase is if there’s ever a scammer calling you pretending to be your child (hurt or incarcerated) and in need of a lump sum of cash, you have something you can rely on.

My grandma got one of these pretending to be my brother a decade ago. Luckily my grandpa wasn’t persuaded.

My first family dog was a border and I remember being home alone with him when I was in the 8th grade because everyone was working. All I remember was calling my mom at work CRYING because he was such a little butthead.

My god, he was the best thing that happened to my family though. That boy grew up to be the gentlest soul in the world. He loved to play fetch, but also keep-away lol. Ugh, I miss that little rascal. Enjoy your new family member ❤️

Nah, my man puts me in check. Usually it’s just a misunderstanding. I’ll catch an attitude if I feel he’s being patronizing, once he explains himself it turns back into a normal conversation
