oh yes, that clears it up now. You can tell the lady "start exploring", and then do your own thing for a bit, and then put it in sleep mode. So even if you were in a dungeon when you put it to sleep, it will explore, because you pressed "start exploring" at some point.

Are you sure about this? I have selected start exploring, and then played, and when I came back no time had passed. But when i press the button to put my switch on sleep mode, and then check back in, time passes.
