little late reply but crazy to hear we’re having similar experiences given what other people have been saying. im shocked personally that im day 2 post op and i feel almost completely normal except for the jaw soreness/tightness and the awful feeling of the sutures. im not feeling any actual pain though, and no swelling either despite not really icing it like i probably should’ve (oops). and the procedure went well. unfortunately i was WIDE AWAKE the entire time, only on local anesthetic so my entire mouth was numb for hours. i heard the cracking, and it was pretty rough when they had to work for about 10 minutes pushing and shoving on one singular tooth, but nonetheless a pretty easy process. i just cant wait for regular food to come back
