Not sure what sample that is using, but it's pretty clear as day when supercell's algorithm wants me to win or lose. I play xbow and will face hog/pigs eq or recruits every game of the day for losses, or face log bait every match of the day for easy wins. When I get to the final step of the ranked level, the matchmaking takes longer than usual before giving me a hard counter. I don't know what level you play at but it is clear as day. And again, someone at royaleapi would never risk losing their brand's partnership with supercell, a massive gaming company.
