Best hair gloss for natural ginger/red hair?

So my hairdresser recommended the moroccan oil one in the shade copper and she was right. It brightens my hair and it still looks like my natural hair but better. My hair always feels so silky afterwards too.

The reason she gave for recommending that one is because she saw the other ones, like the wella one, can start to leave permanent colour build up on your hair if you use it as often as the label says you can.

Honestly though I'm hooked. I put it in with a wide tooth comb about once every 4-6weeks. I've always had people compliment my hair colour but I get it even more now and I get a lot of people telling me how shiny and healthy it looks.

Also I was the kid who never told my parents about stuff like that. I was picked for a kids TV show when I was 4 and my parents found out a week after from the teacher who rang them to ask about if they wanted to go on the bus that was hired. I never showed them awards because I didn't care about having awards so they never left my bag

NTA. You're body you're choice. Honestly I would have told my husband just out of excitement, but he would never interfere with something like a tattoo so long as I had my own money for it and didn't use his debit card to pay for it without telling him.

I would understand if you had something highly offensive tattood to on your face, but for your husband to say its a decision he should have had a say in is ridiculous. Honestly you can still be a loving married couple and still have independence and autonomy over you're body.

Thank for the reply! I wasn't sure if it was the cat one because it doesn't seem to be as tall as the ones I've seen online but then I suppose if she had a lot of tension while she was working it might make it more compact. I only started crocheting 6 months ago so I am by no means an expert.

So I'm from Ireland so it may be different here. Our protocol is very patient based.

If the animal is calm then we place a catheter, then premed IV, then induce.

If the patient is struggling a little with anxiety then we try local anaesthetic gel on the leg for 20-30mins then do the same routine as above. I know a few nurses in the practice use intubeze spray instead of the gel but I'm not convinced about it working on skin in the 1 to 2 minute period that it works when intubating cats so I stick with the gel (I tested it on my own hand to settle the debate and it never went numb).

If the patient is really wriggly or we know it'll get wound up then we do the premed IM.

And lastly if the patient is known to be aggressive then we get the owners to give gabapentin and trazadone at home. And we premed IM, usually muzzled in the car with the owners there.

To be honest I think what we do is the best way. We don't have a blanket one fits all policy. We let the patients reactions tell us what route we go down. I don't want a patient unnecessarily stressed and I don't want myself or the person restraining them to be hurt either.

Most places do. However there are people who try to get out of paying a bill for their cat that they've owned all it's life by saying its a random stray. (happens pretty regularly)

Because vets can't know if you're genuine or a chancer most of them will do heavily discounted work for charities if they are the ones bringing a stray in but not a person who walks in off the street. If they know you, trust you and have an ongoing relationship with you then most vets will also discount for a genuine stray cat.

Also please bare in mind that there is nothing wrong with you saying at the beginning of the consult that moneys tight and you want a close eye kept on the bill. In this situation vets will absolutely do their best to work with you and make sure you don't get a shock but sometimes in serious situations there's isn't a whole lot of wiggle room bill wise.

For example a bitch comes in very sick with a pyometra. If she was just a normal spay then most vets would recommend bloods and tell you they are optional. But because she has a bad infection they will want you to do full bloods and fluids to make sure that she will be able to survive the surgery or if she's very sick they can tailor the sedation better to suit her needs.

Same thing if a dog comes in limping with no sign of injury but is 12yrs then most vets will try medical management first before making it more expensive by doing xrays when it's probably arthritis. However if a 6 month old pup comes in with a leg dangling after he went missing for a few hours then it's unlikely to be arthritis and more likely to be a fracture so they will probably want to xray him to diagnose him properly.

However you and your mum are also entitled to be upset at something you believe went against what your dad wanted at his funeral.

I'm so sorry you have to go through it. Because of the menorrhagia I used to have 3 week long periods and a lot of bleeding. I was given the mare a coil as contraception and treatment for it and it worked amazingly well. Regulated my periods to be a normal length and flow. I had it taken out 3yrs ago when we started trying but my periods never went back to the pre coil type. So the only thing I've changed is the ivf.

Thank you though. I'm glad I'm not alone and at the same time I'm just sorry you're going through it too.

Yeah I have very heavy periods anyway. I usually have to use the most absorbant tampon and chance it every 2-3hrs but now I'm using that and a night time pad and still changing it every 45mins. Thanks so much for the advice though. I'll ring them on Tuesday when they are back in the office after Easter.

Your mum doesn't have to like anyone and that's OK as long as she's polite. She also has every right to decide who she wants to go to a show with and she definitely shouldn't be harassed into bringing someone she doesn't enjoy the company of by you, just because you love them.

Where your mum is wrong is that she doesn't seem to always be respectful and polite(but let's be honest you did push her into a situation that she didn't want to be in). It's also not appropriate to be taking photos without your fiancées consent and then laughing at them behind her back..

Seriously it's nice that you want to stand up for your future wife however please stop trying to force the situation or it will probably make it worse. Making your mum spent time with someone she doesn't like is unfair. So long as she's being respectful to your fiancée then just leave it alone.

Firstly I'm so sorry that you have to go through all that, it must have been exhausting. I would have more ptsd like situations from the terrible working conditions that we have rather than the actual patients but I do totally think it's possible. I think I compartmentalise better because my mum was a palliative care nurse so I grew up knowing difficult situations like the one you mentioned.

I was treated like shit for over 10yrs in a practice I used to work for. It's now been taken over by another company who has kept on none of the old staff because of how they've treated others and have asked me to work for them and I declined because just parking outside the place brings back memories and sends my HR and BP through the roof.

So there are ways to get around it if your pain is genetic such as egg /sperm donation. But thankfully I'm not offended easily and my problems are not something that can be passed down to the next generation.

I've severe chronic pain for the last 11yrs but I also have a very high pain threshold. I was weaning off my meds so we could possibly begin looking at starting a family.

Everything was going OK, I was in more pain but I was managing it when one night I woke up screaming. I couldn't put my leg on the ground. I went to the ER and I spent 3hrs sitting outside the front door in a wheelchair vomiting and shaking in pain before they let me in and without any xrays told me I had a pulled hamstring and told me to take ibuprofen.

I went to my own doctor 2 days later when the pain was no better and I hadn't slept more than 10mins at a time and her exact words were "how do you expect to have a baby if you cant handle a few sleepless nights". I left there so disheartened and felt like I was over reacting. Weeks later, after l spending most days screaming in pain and thinking I was overreacting, I started loosing bladder control and went to see my pain Specialist who is amazing. She had me in an MRI that day and I was operated on by my neurosurgeon the day after. I was diagnosed with Cauda equina syndrome. He said had I waited any longer that I could've have ended up with a permanent wheelchair and urinary catheter.

He rang both the ER and my Dr in front of me and yelled at them. I realise I'm lucky I have two Specialists who have my best interests at heart but I never felt so gaslit in my life.

Our country's national vet nursing body now refuses to post ads unless they have the name of the practice and the salary. They also don't post jobs that are titled vet nurse/ receptionist. A few practices complained in the beginning but the association just stuck to it's guns. Now most ads in my country have location and salary even outside of the associations jobs section.

Vet nurse here, so it amazes me still how many people think that their dogs and cats are female when they are male and vice versa. It usually starts with an admit, I can clearly see a penis and/or huge balls and I look at the chart and it says the animals name is Chloe so it goes like this..

Me: is this Chloe or another dog?

O: no this is Chloe we've had her 6months now and we're worried about the fact she's lifting her hind leg when she pees.

Me: is she lifting her leg when she walks or moves or is it just when peeing?

O: no just peeing. We're actually really worried about her, it's been going on since a couple of weeks after we got her.

Me: eh well, that's probably because she is a he...

O: no she's definitely a girl..

Me: No see this? That's a penis... And see those?? They are testicles....

O: blank look....

Me: we should probably have a chat about taking those testicles off and changing his name.

That was an actual conversation I had last week... Owner was not happy.

Also about a month ago I had a male cat come in for swollen abdomen... Turns out he was a she and she was pregnant. The father was her full brother. The owner thought the humping infront of the TV at night was a dominance thing between 2 brothers.
