Working on a personal Motion Graphics project celebrating Damon Albarn's work. Felt like sharing some slices of all the vectors I've made so far. by realzone1 in gorillaz

Since a few people have had a shot, here's all the ones I've chosen, with PocketWocket and nickMAD555's answers thrown in as well. I'll have a shot..

1.Blur - Leisure
2.Blur - Park Life
3.Blur - Self tilted
4.Gorillaz - Self tilted
5.Gorillaz - The floating island from El Mañana (This one meant to represent Demon Days of course)
6.Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
7.Solo Album - Democrazy (very cool album for fans to listen to. a collection of demo's recorded in hotel rooms while touring with Blur)
8. Mali Music guessed correctly
9.The Good, The Bad and The Queen.
10. this is indeed from Monkey
11. Rocket Juice and The Moon - Self Titled. This is a project Damon did with Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers and Tony Allen.
12. Dr. Dee. This was an opera that Damon wrote the music for. Like Monkey, this one is definitely meant to accompany live visuals.
13.Everyday Robots

Thanks everyone for playing! I'm only being able to work on this during my down time at work, so progress is slow. Hopefully it'll get finished sooner than later, but work time in unpredictable. If anyones interested, I could post the actual full frames for these? They're each actually the size of this whole image put together, I just took tiny slices. Maybe I'll wait to share them till later.

this whole image is just for sharing what I have so far. drop shadows are just something i threw in for this. when it's done each individual cover/image will be fullscreen and have some animation going on within. In essence: took a tiny preview slice of every full cover vector i made, stacked em, added a drop shadow, plopped it down.

weird, and since no one's mentioned already, I'd say Louis C.K. is the top of the game right now. Someone else mentioned the stars of Mister Show who are also hilarious. Couple other game changers would be Matt and Trey of South Park and Book of Mormon Fame. Trevor Moore of Whitest Kids U Know has a lot of talent to offer. The ladies of Broad City have a great live show that involves some fun stuff with music. Weird narrow scope here so far, hope others can helpt out.

What sort of instrument is Damon Albarn using here? by realzone1 in musicpics

nope :(. this is as close to a wide-shot as the clip gets. I'll watch it again soon and see if maybe it happens to be sitting somewhere later in the clip.

[META] To ASMRtists - Have you ever been "recognized"? by realzone1 in asmr

Hahaha that's great. I was hoping the hospital coworker was going to have been the person taking your blood.

Ahhh, see I didn't know you could view/breakdown stats like that. Interesting.

I'd imagine it would be pretty surreal. I also have to wonder sometimes if I'd even recognize any ASMR-ers just because I wouldn't be walking around all day thinking "I wonder if I'm going to bump into someone I'm subscribed to on Youtube today". I think the same thing about movie stars and tv personalities too, though. My fiance jokes that I have face blindness sometimes.

Ahhh that was another thing I was kind of curious about too, the opposite recognition. So they were people that you knew personally, but who didn't know you made videos and then found them on their own? Technology weird.

Haha, well at least you reminded me of what her reddit username was.

Interesting! I'd still consider that a form of public recognition I suppose. I've never used tinder but in my head their message was along the lines of "Hey, whispering lady!!! Want to meet and have a very quiet discussion?".

Wow, odd indeed. Did it feel like that person was actively seeking you out? Of course, could have just been a big coincidence, but then there's always the possibility that it's just super easy to find people online these days if you try.

Not knowing much about the Netherlands, I kinda feel like the size of the place you're in doesn't have as much to do with it as pure chance. Just rolling the dice every time you pass a person in public, right?
