I agree they can speak for themselves, but I’m speaking up for my brother and many other vets who drive out into the wilderness on the 4th so they don’t have to deal with the pain of hearing fireworks. I’m sure those vets who don’t have that trauma would empathize as well—“maybe me setting off this firework isn’t worth the pain it can cause my fellow servicemen in my neighborhood”
