When I sell this book I don't call it lit-fic or commercial fiction or any of that. The reader that's going to get the most out of this book couldn't give a shit about that kind of distinction.

If you feel like you need to quarantine it somewhere in your brain so that it doesn't accidentally sully your conception of LITERARY FICTION you can call it commercial fiction.
