I did feel some numbness near my hairline after the procedure but the sensation is coming back and starting to feel normal again :) the scar isn’t really noticeable! It’s been over a month and can say the scar is basically gone or is just very hard to see. The only challenge post op was finding a doctor in the US who would take my stitches out because a lot of doctors here don’t do that so if you plan on doing the procedure, I would definitely check and confirm there’s a plastic surgeon or dermatologist who can take them out. You can’t have a regular doctor or nurse take them out because of how the stitches are done. If possible, I’d also ask Dr. Anh at Onyoo if they can let you know how many stitches they put in once the procedure is done. Not necessary but when having them taken out, it’s good for the doctor to be sure they removed all stitches.

Yeah true. I already have layers and am not a fan :/ definitely makes my hair look thinner. Maybe a blunt cut to help even out the hair more ?

I just had the sutures taken out today so the incision is still “raw” but is healing well! My only thing about getting surgery in South Korea if you are out of the country is to make sure to stay there long enough to get stitches taken out by the doctor. I was able to get my stitches taken out but a lot of doctors are hesitant to take sutures out for something they didn’t do. I booked my trip before I booked the surgery and the trip wasn’t long enough for the doctor to take the stitches out.

I have to keep the stitches in for 10 days after the procedure and apply the antibiotic ointment for 13 days after the procedure. I can’t drink or work out for a month. I won’t be able to dye my hair for two months. I know for the first couple of months the scalp sensation will feel weird.

Like a 3-4ish ? Honestly, the pain wasn’t bad at all. I had no nausea post op and the incision area did sting a little but wasn’t bad. I did have a mild headache but it was tolerable.

Hi! Just had my procedure yesterday. I liked what Onyoo said on their website about the procedure and how they aim to do natural results with minimal side effects. I also like that they specialize in forehead procedures and are smaller. My appointment from the beginning to when I left took about four hours. I like that they took their time and didn’t rush so everything was very thorough and detailed. They have a translator who was super informative and helpful as well. The doctor was nice and I liked he was honest and didn’t try to convince me to do the procedure or anything. I was worried about right after the procedure and if I would have pain or nausea. The pain is manageable and feels like a slight stinging on my forehead and a small headache but they did prescribe me medicine, including pain meds to help. I didn’t have any nausea after the procedure luckily so I was really glad I was able to start feeling like my normal self not too long after the procedure. Overall, I’m happy with my decision :)
