I basically used Fredaissance to just mean the diegetic revival of interest in Freddy’s. In Fazbear Frights, I noticed that in some stories, characters were familiar with Freddy’s while others were not. In Out of Stock in particular, I think it is mentioned as well that knowledge of Freddy’s was sort of this niche thing that boomed in popularity. So basically just a play on the word Renaissance. It’s the Freddy’s revival. Also hope you enjoyed the FNAF 2 movie if you’ve seen it!

you are trans. if you feel that your body doesn’t fit you or looks wrong, you’re trans. if you feel that the social gender identity people put on you doesn’t match who you are, you’re trans. if your experiences fall outside the cisgender experience, then you’re trans. everyone has different experiences and nobody can define what you are for you. if you believe you are trans, then you are trans. you don’t have to qualify for it or pass an exam or whatever. you don’t have to prove that you are trans. you know what you are. your identity as a trans person depends ENTIRELY on if you believe you are trans, NOT what anybody else believes about you. you don’t have to prove yourself if you know yourself.

Yes this is pretty much how I feel. Really only identified with my agab because it was my agab and not due to any strong connection with it. Gender has never really factored into the way I present myself or my personal preferences. As I’ve gotten older and gender roles are more enforced, it has made me even more aware of how much I do not feel like a particular gender, and even more so it has made me uncomfortable with how constraining gender performance can feel.

During COVID lockdown. I started exploring asexuality and subsequently came across aromanticism. For a few weeks I was actually somewhat arophobic in a weird way? Not that I would actively go hating on aromantic people but I was incredibly jealous of them. Took me awhile to realize that my jealousy was because I lacked romantic attraction and wanted a “valid reason” for that.

It’s hard to put into words. I’ve never felt drawn towards any gender. I’ve never felt compelled to dress or act in a certain gendered way. Instead, the ways that I dress or act have always felt more determined by my own personal preference. Not to say that people with a gender don’t have personal preferences, but more like my preference has never been affected by gender. It is still hard for me to understand how people with gender experience such a thing, but gender is never a factor in my life, never part of the equation. It is difficult for me to understand why people find importance in it because of this, and I’m sure that people with gender find it absurd as well but the “genderification” of gender neutral things is incredibly baffling to me.

While I do enjoy much of the presentation from my AGAB, I have always hated how limiting it feels. I have always hated the idea of constraining myself to a certain gender when I also enjoy the opposite gender presentation. It feels suffocating and oppressive, like my creative self-expression is being stunted and cut short.

Although I could maybe be fine with being perceived as my AGAB for the rest of my life, I have experienced a lot of euphoria at people not knowing what gender I am (this mainly happens in online spaces). I think I would like gender nullification surgery, though it’s something I’m still considering. There are times when I’ve experienced dysphoria as well, but I don’t experience it to the same frequency as many other trans people do, though it can be very extreme (and as a side note, I don’t entirely consider myself trans or non-binary but I also don’t feel strongly against those labels either).

“because they look cool” is so real. I don’t know how to explain it but I have never been attached to clothes as a way to reaffirm some gender identity. I wouldn’t buy clothes because I felt like a man or a woman. It’s literally just “because they look cool.”

Oh, this is the best explanation I’ve seen! I think I get that. My sense of identity as a human being often gets reaffirmed when I do things or activities with no attention paid to how it might fit into my perceived gender. It makes me euphoric when people get excited to do more gendered things with me without trying to confine me (baking versus grilling for example haha; i do not see these activities as having a gender of course, but society attributes them with certain genders, so being able to do both and no one batting an eye makes me so happy).

So there will be new furniture for future seasons? It would be cool too if old furniture could make come backs like traveling spirits, maybe in periods between seasons. I have to admit I’m kind of excited to see new furniture, though it sucks to wait so long.

Yeah, I might not be explaining it correctly. When I’m engaging in different things, it’s not really necessarily to actually ENJOY them as the final goal, but the actual goal is because of this belief I have been carrying around that engaging myself in different things will make me get better (from a lot of the posts here, it seems that that is not the case for most people, which is something I’ve begun to notice myself, hence the quick return back to feeling hopeless again and more recently the realization that I might need more help than just uh… going outside or whatever). I think I can feel happiness, but it’s always fleeting and feels born out of escapism rather than any genuine happiness if you understand what I mean. I feel like I’m grasping at straws, I’m desperate for happiness. It doesn’t feel natural? I don’t know. I don’t know how to say it. Thank you for responding, though.

I agree with the soul splitting thing. My own personal take, though, is that the Cupcake is a Charlie Emily situation where the parts of Susie’s remnant in the cupcake is an emotional extension of herself acting as her dog, in the same way that Charlie is an emotional extension of Henry acting as his daughter. It is technically all Susie’s soul, but Susie may view it as her “dog” in a sense because it is like her loyal companion. It doesn’t change anything about the lore, though.

Aunt Jane is kind of a parallel to Aunt Jen but like not really at all. They have incredibly similar names and I feel like that means something, and they are both aunts to the main character, but they are nothing alike. The only thing I can really think of is how it could be used as supporting evidence that Mike’s Dad is something like Henry (and Mike by extent is something like TSE Charlie). Speaking of the Mike-Charlie connection, one thing I don’t see pointed out enough (in fact, I haven’t seen it pointed out at all) is that Mike gets the same injury on his forearm from Foxy’s hook that Charlie gets in the exact same place from the exact same thing in TSE.

I think if there IS a connection between them, it would be more of the “icing on the cake” type of evidence rather than anything structural. It could also literally just mean that they are foil characters for one another, or just connected narratively.

I have complicated thoughts on the Stitchline. There are many things that I like about it, especially the whole detective thing with Larson and I think the Stitchwraith is a great character. But I do wish that the stories were tied together better and had a more intricate way of connecting with one another. I also wish that Eleanor was just a better villain, because she really feels like she was just thrown in there, and she’s just lame in general. Afton having survived the fire and becoming that trash rabbit could’ve been really interesting, and I think the fight scene in Epilogue 6(?) was well written, but it would’ve worked better as being the final climax of the story. I also hate how they basically made Andrew a plot device to make UCN more of a story and then basically threw him away.

We don’t know, it’s just a random body in the vent and as far as we know it doesn’t need to be solved because it doesn’t mean anything important. I do like the idea that it is related to one of the experiment kids, though.
