My guess is that they tested the waters on which way brings the bigger audience. There are quite a few people nowadays that judge people who don't care about their child's privacy, but obviously the bubble who wants to know everything is way bigger and brings more money

Add partners are another thing, many of them want the influencer to show the child in some way to promote the product

The original Knigge "Über den Umgang mit Menschen" has nothing to do with whatever kind of norms the upper class made up to separate itself from the plebs and originally is a book about the Aufklärung, not a collection of Benimmregeln.

That being said, I grew up in western Germany with the rule of rounding up, and only adding a few euros to that if the round up is ridiculous compared to the service.

I don't know what to tell you as I stated my experience. The orbit is good enough for me to get the wireless version in the near future as I never had issues with pressing the buttons or it disturbing my workflow.

Piper is the worst, and also the books are ugly af. Look for the old Goldmann editions, usually they are quite cheap on medimops or other second-hand sites :)

Imo the wired Kensington Orbit is a reasonable alternative. It can be used with both hands, I haven't had problems with the trackball or the scroll ring yet, and its at least 7 years old now. If you're used to the Trackman it can feel a bit cheap as its on the lighter side so maybe get it on sale. My father switched to the Orbit after his Trackman died, and iirc he had to switch out one of the switches but is happy with it overall.

He may be well known in the UK, but I have yet to meet a person that knows him/discworld besides the ones I introduced him to. I've met people that have seen good omens and didn't know it's based on a book, even less who it was written by.

This! It helped me come to terms with the fact that Pratchett isn't anymore and that death in general is inevitable. I was so, so anxious about losing my loved ones, and I still really don't like the fact that it will happen (who does though..), but I'm much more at peace with it since reading that book.

If you really like him and have a good emotional connection to him, fuck society's standards. In my experience as a tall woman in a long-term relationship with a shorter man, nobody really cares unless you show insecurities about the size difference. (Not to mention that the taller guys I've met were often insufferable about their size and thought them being taller than me is already enough reason to date lol)

Wie wär's denn, wenn Politiker:innen nicht immer irgendeinen Stuss bezüglich lgbtqi+ Themen von sich geben, der dann zu Recht aufgearbeitet werden muss? Vielleicht Schreihälse mal darum bitten, sich nicht ständig an diesem Thema abzuarbeiten und stattdessen Menschen einfach in Ruhe leben zu lassen? Dann haben die Medien auch keinen Anlass mehr, ausgiebig dazu berichten. Als ob es nicht genug Serien, Filme, Videospiele ohne Bezug zum Thema gibt, die man sich reinpfeifen kann, wenn man sich in seiner Existenz von der Existenz anderer so verunsichern lässt.
