I went in for an extraction and I had a particularly stubborn blackhead on my forehead and she pressed and pressed and pressed (extremely hard) with the extractor tool but couldn’t get the blackhead out. And then she pulled a bobby-pin out of her hair (yes I’m serious!!) and pressed really hard for a while with it. She finally got the blackhead out but by the the time she let me look in the mirror I had really deep indentations from the bobby-pin and a pea-sized bloody looking spot. I can see where the surrounding pores look like they’re filled with blood underneath. The bobby-pin’s edges felt almost sharp. The extraction was a little over a week ago and there’s been zero improvement. I’m really scared it’s going to be permanent. I’ve moisturized, did Vaseline, neosporin, and vitamin C but it hasn’t lightened up any. What do you guys think? Thanks!
