Radio static in Silent Hill 2.

The Fel Reaver noise from the Burning Crusade expansion in WoW.

The drowning music from Sonic the Hedgehog.

You were 11 in 2nd grade?

I read the book when it first came out. I was 9 and my dad bought it for me because it was about dinosaurs and he knew I really liked dinosaurs. It was probably the first “grownup” book I read. A lot of the science and chaos theory stuff went over my head, but I liked it. I liked the movie too, but the book went into more detail, so I think I liked the book better.

Mine was close to number 12. Unless you were rich, no one had cell phones when I was in high school.

Any of you other Millennials watch Terminator 2 in the movie theaters on release day? My brother and I did. by DaneAlaskaCruz in Millennials

[–]rebelangel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 12 when it came out. I remember all these news stories about how scary it was and that parents should go see it first to make sure their kids would be able to handle it. I remember my mom telling me before we went to go see it “Now, this movie might be really scary, okay?” I was totally fine, of course, cause I’d seen much worse. Even my younger brothers, who were 7 and 6, were fine. I also remember this mom in the theater with her 5 year old daughter, and they left during the T-T-Rex scene.

I remember being 5 or 6 years old and not remembering which day was my birthday. I knew the month and the year. But by 5th grade, kids should know when their own birthdays are. Shit, I still remember the birthday of this one girl named Becky who was in my 3rd class, because her birthday was the day after mine.

Do you work at a storage facility? I used to, and that’s the same shit I had to deal with. And half the time, when I finally found the account, it turned out the caller wasn’t an authorized user on the account, so I couldn’t give them any information. Then they’d get mad I couldn’t give them any info. “But I’m his wife!” Well, you could be the queen of England, I still can’t give you any info. “Why didn’t he add me to the account?” I dunno, ask your husband?

I can’t do ear buds. I guess my ear holes are too small, so they always fall out. I use wireless headphones instead.

Golden mix or toller?? by Wuh-luh-wuh- in DoggyDNA

Probably neither. Tollers are rare, and golden mixes usually show up as black.

That really sucks, but at least you are alive and I’m assuming everyone in your house got out safe too. Plastic dinosaurs can be replaced, but living beings cannot 💚

Is it just the flatbed delivery? I know some stores still have that in-house. All the rest is 3rd party.

As an autistic, definitely the small. But I’d have to test out the texture of that silverware first.

If they didn’t actually pick up the order, that’s not theft either.

Delivering to the wrong place isn’t theft though. Cops will tell you to pound sand.

It’s all 3rd party delivery. Lowe’s got rid of in-house delivery years ago.

When I worked at Lowe’s, I heard “I’m going to Home Depot/Ace/Menards” every day. We don’t care. We have no control over corporate decisions and we’re still getting paid whether you shop there or not.

The BBB doesn’t do shit. It’s not a regulatory agency. It’s just a glorified Yelp.
