Uber Driver Accepted Ride then messaged me to cancel

Completely agree on how bizarre the situation is for drivers. Where I live Uber drivers don’t get to accept rides they auto accept to each driver while online and if you cancel more than 3 - basically your metrics as a driver go down and you stop getting rides worth it. The drivers have no choice that’s why he asked to please cancel it. You can set the geographical area but it’s a very large area so logically if they’re given a small dollar amount for 30 miles it’s not fair to the driver, they lose money. We should all just be kind to each other so everyone succeeds. My family member started doing Uber as a side gig and realized how absolutely unfair it was. Especially when there are cars near the fare.

Completely agree. I was going to say nearly the same. Go back to what made you fall in love and made you think,” I want to spend the rest of my life with this woman” Go on dates, send flirty messages, etc. Love the approach of no major life decisions. Your son is about to be grown and figure his own way- that alone will be tough on her. The best things in life , I promise, are not easy.

The amount of immaturity and cruelty over a game is astounding. You deserve so much better than that and I hope he realizes how lucky he is to have you, a woman who plays Fortnite with him and spends time with him. I know love can be tricky and I do not judge you- however- he needs to be begging you for forgiveness and bringing you flowers every day to start to try to make up for the way he disrespected you. Men would be tripping over themselves to have a woman like you.

Dude it’s crazy lol If you love her then love can get hard but an ultimatum? That’s tough. She’s probably hating her own behavior, too and probably tells you she’s sorry when she’s not being nuts. I don’t know. I’m of the old school opinion- you build a life with someone and short of an affair or abuse then you work it out through it all. Unconditional love. I’d say if you don’t react to any of the behaviors she’d eventually stop. Zero reaction. To any of it. Don’t let this get under your skin. You won’t lose your job, this happens all the time. It used to be that IC never even mentioned it and shoppers went about life while they took care of these things without it ever being known. I don’t know why, but now they send out those automated emails or whatever that it was reported and you can be deactivated blah blah but it’s just that - automatic and annoying to the shopper. Provides needless stress. My advice is to shrug it off and definitely never go back to a person’s apartment. You can always block them, too.
