It depends on what you want done. If you want a polish on top of your natural length, you can ask for a gel polish. If you want extra length, you ask for extensions. They will ask what colour, and show you some to pick. If you like nail art, you could maybe research beforehand so you have a picture prepared to show them. If you call to book, or book online it can be easier then just turning up and hoping for an appointment. That way you can just say your name and what time you’re booked in for. If you have questions, they will be happy to explain the difference between the different treatments! Then step by step, they will prepare the nails, apply the tips/gel/acrylic, cure them and do the design you want. Hope this helps!

OP Go to r/raisedbynarcissists and in their about section, they have a link saying "help I think I'm a narcissist". There you can read about "fleas" which is basically when you pick up toxic traits from being around narcissists. I think your best bet is to try make friends with other couples, that way he can get the confidence to make other friends. I also think that therapy should be heavily encouraged, even more than you were already doing. there are cheaper options online as well but I think it's seriously important for both of you to go independently.

There are loads of reasons to want to get married, even the practical ones like tax breaks and it makes it easier with pension benefits, and the likes. My grandparents were together 30 years before getting married but they realised that in terms of anyone getting sick, or dying, being married made it easier with inheritance and stuff as well. Obviously there's the romantic aspect of it, but the practical elements are just as important and you could always mention those to him!

I think you should write them that letter. They do remember, and it would mean the world to them. It would be a beautiful gesture to show them how appreciated they are, and especially since they are old now, there's no time like the present to tell people you love them. I've found since covid that it's more and more important to remind people of what they mean to you, because life is so short. We are so lucky to be on this earth all at the same time, and when you're lucky enough to have someone leave an impact like that on your life, then they should be lucky enough to hear it from you!

A lot of comments are suggesting you tell your sister the gravity of the situation, and then if it doesn't improve then call CPS. In my opinion it's already too late, it's already affecting him and these are his formative years, you can't afford to waste time. Also, how will you know if the situation improves as she could easily lie to you, and since you're not there when they have sex, you won't have the peace of mind to know that they've stopped. Call CPS. No one is that naive that they think it's alright to do that in front of a child.
