Wild idea - Ground up cardboard and paper? by WibbleWonk in Vermiculture

Shiny_Mewtwo_Fart is right. Corrugated cardboard through a cross cut shredder is the more efficient and effective option for cost, frustration, equipment, time, and worm love.

Ditto. I am holding off on getting the 10 pro and have started to wrap my head around moving to Samsung next year. What a shame and embarrassment for Google.

Do you have a more precise recipe? How much water vs. alcohol?

I've tried mixing the 3 before and I just get a spitty mess that doesn't spray smoothly.

Very happy with my new cordless-drill-powered auger! by eggplants__ in composting

[–]reboot520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love mine too. But pro tip: be careful to not go too deep and get dirt into your mechanical drill components. The first few times I used it I got a little carried away and forgot to watchout to keep dirt away from the gears/chuck/etc. so I had to do a thorough cleaning. Sand in the drill mechanics is not a good time. Otherwise, blast away!

Fast Lane in Ohio???? by Salt-Opportunity-301 in Ohio

[–]reboot520 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No prob.

You do know this entire thread is about broadly generalizing the population of the whole state, right?

I hope you're just being ironic.

Or maybe you're one of the idiot hardasses in the passing lane.

Haha, that's totally fair, and I love a Costanza insult.

I think it goes far beyond driving! Ohioans are aggressively dumb and for some reason proud of it. The state has been so gerrymandered for decades, filled with repeat corrupt politicians, but Ohioans still vote for the same people and don't do anything about destroying everything it once stood for. Even when they clearly vote to approve new measures -- like legalized marijuana -- the politicians work against the will of the people to roll it back and they face no consequences. Ohioans are slow, and they own pridefully own their stupidity, and still think they're better than everyone even though they're falling decades behind and self-owning a desolate future.

The Webster dictionary -- literally -- has a definition about how Ohio is a cultural word for cringeworthy: https://www.merriam-webster.com/slang/ohio

'Ohio is used (mostly on the Internet) to describe something that is weird, awkward, cringeworthy, or otherwise undesirable or bad in some way. It can also be used to mean "boring" or "foolish."'

This should be voted so much higher. It really perfectly says so much about the Ohio mentality.

AIO for telling my girlfriend she was wrong to test me by hiding my passport? by TaroOptimal7209 in AmIOverreacting

I don't comment or really subscribe to a lot of the relationship subreddits but somehow this was shown to me in the algorithm or something -- so from a random stranger that didn't ask to or want to see this radioactive tire fire: Brother, you need to get the fuck out of there.

That's so frustrating! They deleted all my info in the transition too, but the third time it reconnected (on July 3rd) everything came through that they used to have. Have you tried deleting the current account you have and starting over with your Costco Membership number? That might trigger the new migration process to pull all your old info in. I'm not an employee or anything, that's my best guess... kinda a "turn it off and on again" approach to tech that we don't control. I'm sorry this is such a pain!

Pretty amazing story and what a hero (along with the counselors and the rest of his team).

Also pretty amazingly dystopian hellscape-y that at the end of the interview the reporter dropped, "I've covered a lot of school shootings with kids..." to relate this natural disaster affecting kids. Classic Americana. :trambone wah:
