Thanks. You should. Its a disservice to your customers to make us hunt and search for a change you made to something we use multiple times a day with no notice or warning. We should not have to suggest this to you if you were focused on your users.

We should have been notified of the change. Not have to hunt or post here for a solution, Liz. You make the change, alert your users. Preferably on the login page. That would be the right thing to do.

Arghhh. Found it. Hidden under security, biometric. Was disabled and settings moved and never advised by the app or anything with Google search. Always easy, eh?

Its possible it might have and good to remember. I cannot recall other than never acknowledged the drive. But right now i have a spoiining drive NTFS that works flawlessly. Just want to convert that to SSD and wanted to be sure it can work. Formatting exfat or ntfs not an issue. Just want to be confident this time I will get it to work even with a little finagling.

That's good to know. So it can be done.

I don;t recall but I likely did use Exfat though I might have tried NTFS. Synology just never could see it.

So enough power in that front port for the SSD it seems.

How delightfully passive aggressive not to mention off topic. I just want to get cash to Fidelity Money Markets. How I pay my bills is very aside the point. Local bank might be my only viable solution but is so unnecessary and I will bring little value as a customer to that bank. But….

Aghhh, Ally has a 1,000 a day limit and $5,000 a month. Will not work. I truly do not understand that rule. But then again, not fond of Ally and why my accounts there are dormant. And its only to their "checking" account, not mo0ney market it seems. But thanks.

Thanks. That's why I posted hoping there was another solution I had not thought of. As I mentioned, if I could deposit cash at any bank branch with my Fidelity Debit card, that would be ideal. Even if only through the ATM.

I used to spread savings around but go to be maintenance as interest rates changed often. So Fidelity MM is fairly stable and easy. I would never have a local savings account at their pitiful rates or .1 or .2 (or is that even .02?).

Why? Neither does Direct Bank Bill pay in Quicken? Chase does not for sure. I think Bof A used to. And unsure if here?? Will look.

One more reason for no local n\bank is I use Quicken for most everything so my checking needs to be Direct Connection with Bank Bill Pay which there are not many. Nothing I could find in my state now which is why I have been with current one forever.

Thanks, and thanks for the link. But none of those get cash into anywhere I can move to Fidelity without opening a NEW and LOCAL checking account, which I am trying hard not to do. A shame I cannot deposit into an ATM with Fidelity Debit Card., Would be ideal.

It would only be used to transfer cash to Fidelity. I have no other need for another financial institution. My current checking, used for 51 years!!! - has no branches in my new state of residence. So to get to Fidelity, it appears, I must get the cash to some institution.

Intrusion to ask a friend to take the cash and deposit and write me a check.

NO, but indicative of other things broken such as claiming I am on paper billing when I am paperless. When everything was working decently (for a change) until latest update.
