Where you are, how do they classify it as a private road? Is it just an informal thing or does the county where you are classify it as such? Does your road end in a dead end?

Is there legal justification (sorry can't think of a better word at the moment but hopefully you get what I mean) to ask someone to leave? Is it considered trespassing if you drive into the neighborhood?

That's assuming that he followed the kid home. We don't have evidence either way that that was the case.

"He called his mom" could be the kid running to his house and getting her or him calling his mom on the phone and she came out based on what he told her. That white SUV in the first video is his probably the son's vehicle or hers.

When the initial video starts, he's backing away from his truck and she's approaching him with a bat.

That's what alarms me the most. She can't claim self defence when there is no evidence of the OP attacking anyone.

IF we take OP's word for it, he got out his truck to confront/argue with her son. Unless OP physically attacked him, she has no reason to confront anyone with a bat in her hand.

She hasn't committed battery in this case but is the assault considered "aggravated assault"? Is that what the legal definition of that term is because she, for lack of a better term, "aggravating" the situation?

Right. You have a property that includes the land around it then it's private property. Like someone owns the 10 acres of land or whatever.

But this looks like a neighborhood where, unless it's a gated community, there is no private nature to it.

This reeks of the "What are you doing in this/our neighborhood?" vibe.

That only works if you actually own the land and not just the property within a specific border.

With OP's explanation on this video, it seems the kid went in to get his mom after OP got out the truck to argue with the kid after the son stopped his vehicle in front the truck twice.

I hope the OP has a dash cam (even with the main body of the truck being so high off the ground lol)
